Today, in the United States of America, I saw for the first time in my life, a gas station out of gas.
Ive seen that at times in new england. Especially lately, Im told its hard for transport companies to get drivers. You need hazmat certs and everything else to drive a tanker and those guys are in top demand.

Business - Since 2008 the Fed has kept the rates almost at 0%, we're nearing on 15 years of low rates, many people in finance and the business sector have known nothing but easy money and the entire business sector has evolved with this in mind. There is going to be a reckoning as this entire crop of managers and financiers get forced back into reality. Expect a 2008 style liquidity and subprime loan crisis (already defaults are beginning) as a cherry on top of the shit sundae we're getting.
How many jobs and businesses were created because of free money? These will vanish as the fed keeps raising interest rates. Of course, they have no faith in the “strong economy” and will reverse course and lower rates to zero or near zero again once things start to really go downhill.

Who knows? I doubt you could get a real answer. For all we know without the free money the economy could permanently rest at above 10% unemployment like Spain.

Populism is the looming boot to get it done. More and more nations are seeing the rise of popular movements to make this happen, to bring work and jobs back, for their own selfish goals if nothing else. Under the pressure of sufficiently large populist movements, cucked politicians side with it, and new ones rise from its ranks. The establishment has influence only so far as the people believe in it. Furthermore, much of the establishment prioritizes power over wealth these days - reversing globalism opens massive market spaces for economic power to be earned, to then trade for local political power. Many will take that trade over the risk of worse outcomes.

Populism has many flaws, but in the case of reversing globalism, it is a major moving force.
Currently all populist movements are discredited as TrumpNazis and their main politicians are almost entirely people who cuck as much as possible to the establishment or are otherwise insanely inept at actually getting things done (case in point, Donald Trump and his handler Kushner). The establishment unites behind abject failures like Macron and Biden to defeat populists. The media and levers of society are all in the hands of the powerful.

Globalism is winning and will almost certainly recover from this setback. I mean do you really think for a moment the powers that be would shut down the world without a plan to deal with it? Look at how they're acting now where there's zero pressure from anyone but the populists (filthy TrumpNazis like Tucker Carlson) on China to stop Covid Zero nonsense, and in fact they're silently cheering on China for their policy! The scamdemic to the globalists was nothing but accelerationism on their part, a power grab against us.
You guys are acting like government policy has complete control over international trade. It doesn’t. If domestic production is superior for consumers, market forces will find a way to make it happen regardless of what the government does.
Even all the libertardians around here admit that truly free markets can't exist until the government no longer controls them. Market forces are very limited in power when the government actively restricts them.

I think most sane people can see russia is barebacking the globohomo right now.

No, they aren’t. Market forces are as powerful with or without the government in place. Otherwise black markets and things like OPEC wouldn’t exist. Government policy shapes the path of least resistance for markets which usually ends up with a certain class of people getting screwed as an unintended consequence.

Cheap Chinese crap wasn’t ubiquitous because a group of Bond villains decided it. Twas because China has a large population of healthy enough, able-bodied men who ‘offer’ cheap enough labor to produce large amounts of stuff consistently. I.e. China was the country actually making things out of sticks and stones and it was easy to get them. With Wu Flu fucking that up that might change, or maybe things will just go back to the way they were.

People really need to read the God damn book. Tired of repeating myself over and over to autistic retards.

But what is the common man going to do with this knowledge?
If 2020's Summer Of Love taught us anything, it's that the common man will watch his home city burn to the ground and just shrug, maybe even donate money and goods to the poor oppressed Molotov throwers.
The "DO" literally glows. Cant make that shit up. Also, odd blackpill take. #notmyCHAZ my dude.
These big blue cities are nobodies "home city" unless you are part of the rioters or a lefty-NPC-urbanite-bugman.
Also, unlike the glowies and cops, "the common man" is not a paid employee of the government and its not his job to larp as riot control for people who defunded their own police. "Common men" dont simp for a lefty city immolating itself for no good reason or its NPC inhabitants.

Normal people quietly prepare(d) for worse and watched the show like normal people that have a life outside of politics tend to do.
Why do you think ammo was sold out ? "Raz" didnt dump all of it into innocent people.

If 2020 taught us anything, then its that
A) Antifa cant do anything right (unless its street-brawls and even there the DAs need to cover them) and is more of a "value-brand red guard" than a real threat.
B) LGBT-BLM-Anarcho-Tyranny is not better system than capitalism (rip CHAZ)
C) The urban bugmen are loosing it Mouse Utopia style.
D) Normal people are now better armed than ever before. Tons of new gun owners too. The 2nd A is here to stay.
E) Soros funded all this shebang because i guess he owns stocks in firearms and ammo manufacturing companies ?

2020 was the biggest "L" for L-efties in a L-ong time. And the "common man" luckily knew better than to stop that historical self-own.

This warms my heart better than all the peaceful fires.

Looks to me like the urbanized left had (their own) situation under control. Only a madman would (try to) interrupt that.
They even had some somali pirate gang leader tier dude LARP as "security" and they/he shot several innocent people without any repercussions.
Does that seem like something you want to participate in ? Well, if so then dont let me stop (you) from doing something,
but "common men" will never clean up the messes of these nihilistic urbanized bugman type people.
Good on them too, since that would be stopping your enemies (absurdly funny) mistake.

Smart men dont play a game that's rigged from the start.
They dont protect their enemies from themselves.

The "DO" literally glows.
I just don't want anyone getting their hopes up for some kind of "Gotcha!" moment here.

Just like when it became obvious to all but the most blind that the BLM/Antifa riots were NOT organic, people will look at the factories closing over nothing more than TPTB saying they should close, and supplies just sitting in storage because no one, not one single human on this ol' earth, can figure out how to get them from point A to point B.

The Covid numbers not adding up, the amount of powerful people being seen in public, even at parties, while old people in nursing homes died alone and afraid because no one was allowed to visit? So many crimes against humanity happened and are going to go unanswered for.

Businesses closing because no one will work, but also lots of poverty because no jobs? Smells a bit like bullshit to me. Something's going on, strings are being pulled. I am but a humble potato, but even I can see this.

I wish I could just point and laugh and not care. The foolishness that went on in 2020 killed part of my soul. I hope positive things will come of the changes happening in the world. I just want it to stop causing so much harm.

I assume they are going to blame it on climate change and thus poor harvests. Everything is a side effect of climate change.
War -> climate change.
Famine -> climate change.
Illegal Aliens (migrations) -> climate change.

An increase in temperatures linked to climate change has resulted in poor harvests, and the Covid pandemic has led to shortages of goods and workers.

The WEF is going to point this as the cause of their efforts of causing the deglobalization of trade. Instead of a sudden collapse, there will be a long drawn out recession to control regions of populations in a way that nation states used to. Remote work will play a large part of this in decoupling policy makers, management, etc from communities.

WEF Experts on the Future of Globalization

Globalization 5.0: Reconnection
Analogue Networks: Virtual Nationalism
Digital Dominance: Agile Platforms
Autarkic World: Systemic Fragmentation
....
As a result, the development of events in this scenario may lead to:

Diversification of supply chains of raw materials, including energy carriers;
Technological growth;
Accelerated transition to a green economy;
Diversification of mining and production of metals: lithium, cobalt and nickel;
Vertical integration for industries less inclined to diversification;
Globalization of the labor market.

What the policy makers are trying to prevent is nation wide looting on the scale of the Versailles without creating an environment which puts them in camps by stronger, local leaders. The current "global leaders" are trying to make sure they are the authoritarian leaders, not unpredictable people who may put their own nation's interest first.

The possible consequences of the development of a pessimistic scenario are as follows:

The lack of connections leads to a discrepancy in knowledge and perceptions;
Stagnation of the world economy;
Inequality at the state level;
Increased default risks;
Exploitation of small economies by large ones;
Nationalization of production facilities;
Degradation of production processes;
Environmental degradation;
Stagnation in the labor market;
The rise of authoritarianism.

Even if we defeat globohomo, nothing will ever cleanse our countries of all these third worlders. They're here to stay. (:_(
I'm convinced that most of the illegals (Mexicans specifically, in the US) will just end up going back to Mexico when they've decided that their bags are sufficiently filled enough. If we can actually get a few republicans in that aren't complete pussies we could send them back early but that's more of a nice thought than anything to hang your hat on.

You are literally saying the government has influence over market forces in this argument.

We didn't have to shutter our factories and let China into free trade agreements they routinely break. We could have protected our industry (except for the obviously unprofitable stuff). If it was "just the free market bro" then Ronnie Raygun, Shrub Sr., and Slick Willy wouldn't have had as big of role in things as they did.
People really need to read the God damn book. Tired of repeating myself over and over to autistic retards.
Who are you calling retarded when you literally believe the fumes from coal-fired power plants are healthy. Just visit China and find out how healthy breathing in that shit is, I recommend Shenyang.

So never mind the fact the big city is where people go and buy supplies (some essential) and is where rural areas sell what they produce. Or the very concept of "civic pride" which is opposed to the idea of having violent thugs rule the streets and burn, loot, and murder at will .

Pure Cope: The Post. Like journo levels of cope. "The Far-Left Burned Down Our Cities, Stole Our Elections, Imposed Even Stronger Anti-White Racism in Every Institution, Created the Strictest Social Media Censorship in History, Shut Down Society Over a Mostly Harmless Flu, and Lied to Our Faces the Entire Time, and That's a Good Thing." How exactly has it been a self-own when the left just keeps winning except for token right-wing victories they permit like letting Florida only promote genital mutilation and chemical castration to kids 10 and up or overturning Roe v. Wade (i.e. produces more BLM footsoldiers and consoomrs 18 years down the line)?

The Overton Window has never been so far-left in history, and that's because the global elite and their useful idiots just keep winning. To use a National Felon League analogy, they were up 49-0 in the 4th quarter and we the "common man" just kicked a field goal but we're calling it a victory.

By their own studies, a warming of around 1-1.5 Celsius (where we are at now), actually improves agricultural yield. Globally. Right now we are equivalent to the Medieval Warm Period, which incidentally did have major droughts in places like the Western US, but overall was generally beneficial.

The illegals will mostly scurry back to their shitholes, yes, but the pajeets and muslims who flooded every first world nation and own property are in it for the long haul. We're stuck with them forever. In a twisted sense, I get a sick satisfaction knowing that they'll suffer along with us and in some cases will be even more miserable than us (due to them missing their culture). It's very I Have No Mouth. We'll all suffer together for eternity.

Meanwhile countries like Japan will feel forever vindicated in their xenophobia and racism. Good for them.

Most of the fumes from coal plants are water vapors. And China is actually doing a lot of work to make its air more clean and get people away from the most polluted areas, for better or for worse.

Everyone drank the fossil fuels cause pollution Flavor-aid without thinking about it. Modern power plants are much more efficient and burn fuel more cleanly than fifty years ago.

Do you know what part of California has the worst air quality? It’s not Los Angeles. It’s Imperial County around the area of the Salton Sea. It’s all farmland. It’s not urban. There is no coal burning there. In fact, a giant wind farm is very close by.

Sure, most, but not all. And China is getting their air clean because they're switching to renewables and hydro power, and people leave the most polluted cities because they're in the Chinese equivalent of the Rust Belt.

Except they don't because most non-gas fired power plants are decades old and the gas-fired plants still aren't pollution free and are ironically mostly in demand to support the renewable energy industry.

Which is a valley downwind from LA County, San Diego, and Tijuana, and very near a shitty Mexican city named Mexicali which is full of Mexicans pumping methane-laden fertilizer into the ground which leaks into atmosphere. Your point? I mean you can live downwind from a coal-fired plant. There are still tons in operation. You can literally experience it for yourself and see that it's TOTALLY just water vapor. I guess it isn't surprising that someone who believes that "muh market forces" are the only reason we have no industry and China produces everything would also buy into literal coal industry propaganda. Hope you're quadruple vaxxed, since OBVIOUSLY market forces mean Big Pharma has no reason to lie about the effectiveness of their safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine.

On the topic of fuel, I can see a market for alternative fuels cropping up thanks to the big gay oil cut off the Biden Administration has done as well as the Carbon Tax bullshit the elites are trying to foist upon the common man.

Vid related as it does a rundown on history as well as Ethanol powered engines. But you can bet globohomo is going to do what they can to keep it from getting popular as it hurts their margins and ultimately their agenda to impose a totalitarian soy state.

Ethanol is a fucking stupid energy source and, under optimistic assumptions, is at best energy neutral, meaning it takes just as much energy to create it as it can be used to generate.

You guys are acting like government policy has complete control over international trade. It doesn’t. If domestic production is superior for consumers, market forces will find a way to make it happen regardless of what the government does.
You mean like how the government banned mining of anthracite coal in the West so that Bill Clinton's Indonesian donors could profit, and then market forces somehow magically lifted the national monument declaration so they could mine the coal?
