Wuhan Coronavirus / COVID-19 Thread 2: Booster Shot - Resume all Corona sperging here.

If you're ever curious what kind of people are Science Believers, take a gander at this twitter thread. It's pure cow material from top to bottom.

This is the person demanding more lockdowns. We really need a Community Watch thread to catalog these weirdos.

Jimmy Dore vlogged about Bill Gates who do a suspicious flip-flop about the vaccine passport.
Longtime advocate of vaccines and in particular the vaccination programs surrounding COVID-19, Bill Gates is about the last person you’d think would oppose vaccine mandates. Yet at a recent panel during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Gates acknowledged that the current crop of COVID vaccines do little to prevent infection and also lose effectiveness quite promptly. In which case, he says, why should people be forced to show proof of vaccination anywhere they go?

I think there might be more than meet the eyes besides Bill Gates trying to save his bacon before the SHTF.

Horses are a side hobby of mine (don't have them, just study the equine industry) and I came across an ad for a stallion that said this:

"[Horse name] has been purchased back and rejoins [farm] after his owner fell very ill after taking the covid shot."
Shoulda taken some ivermectin, being around horses and all.

For absolutely no reason at all, there's a pilot shortage in the UK. a
Supposedly, it's also why airline ticket prices have skyrocketed.

Pilots are at an increased risk of stroke owing to their dietary habits and BMI in addition to having their sleep schedule abruptly and frequently changed. They also suffer from increased levels of stress, and are subject to additional confounding factors such as increased age and other comorbidities. This is besides the point that flying frequently puts one at a higher risk of stroke in general, perhaps due to the repeat pressurization/depressurization cycles and sitting still for too long.

In the Oct/Nov edition of the Air Line Pilot Association (ALPA) magazine, there was an In Memoriam page for the pilots who had died in 2021. People were quick to notice that 2021 had 111 recorded pilot deaths at the time of publishing, whereas there was only 6 in 2020. The Covid vaccine (which has a known risk of causing heart problems) was released around Q4 2020. Of course, Reuters was quick to make an article trying to debunk the factoid that there was a ~1700% increase in pilot deaths in 2021 when compared to 2020.

While it is true that pilot deaths in 2020 vs 2021 is skewed owing to airlines severely reducing flights in 2020 due to lockdowns and general fear of being in enclosed spaces with hundreds of other people, we can more accurately compare the data if we compared the 111 deaths in 2021 to deaths in 2019 or earlier. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a detailed list of pilot deaths for 2019.

It was 1 in 2019.
At least, only 1 family reported a pilot death to the ALPA magazine in 2019. Supposedly ALPA claims their reporting method actually has more pilots dying in 2018, 2019, and 2020 than in 2021, and they confirmed this, but their publications for a single edition are not indicative of the total amount of pilot losses reported for the year.

Therefore, the page shared on social media does not reveal 111 pilots died in 2021, compared with six in 2020 and one in 2019. Rather, it shows 111 families had reported prior to the Oct-Nov issue the deaths of relatives who were ALPA members in 2021.

Six families reported prior to the same issue being published of their relatives passing away in 2020 – and one family for 2019.

A previous edition available online shows the same reporting system. In December 2018, there were 29 names of pilots who died between May and October 2018, while the same page also listed two names under 2017. One additional name was listed under 2014. (here, p. 13).

In its statement, ALPA added that there had been more deaths of association members reported in the years before COVID-19 vaccines were rolled out.

“Based on verified information provided by their families, we reported the loss of more pilots in both 2019 and 2020 than in 2021,” it said

I'm glad they posted proof of these 10 years of higher deaths for the public to view...

...Right?

No, they did not in their response, they just said the proof is in their membership data. Their magazine does seem to just include listings as they get them: There's an older issue that has passings across several different years.

wow

Seems everyone in Japan is still wearing "face masks".

Maybe "The New Normal" is the new normal over there...

I think that's just an East Asian cultural thing.
Like I said, before 2020, people in Japan would only wear them when sick. You can see that in videos taken in Japan as late as 2019. It's rare or impossible to see anyone not wearing a "face mask" in public now.

(IIRC they were starting to ease up on the mask wearing by the fall of 2020, but went back hard after the endless new variants.)

Mask mandate still enforced indoors (restaurants, malls, trains and train stations...) "to protect your health and safety".

Most people (literally 95 in 100) still wear masks everywhere outside their house, even outdoors where it's no longer required, in 30C/90F, 90% humidity swamp weather heat.

Someone's power bank catches fire while in the train.

The train stops at Somerset, which is along the busy Orchard Road and hence an underground station, for everyone to exit.

The nearest overground station (where masks are optional on the platform) is 6 stops away.

Just saying because even if it's overground, it doesn't matter. As mentioned, majority of people are sheep who wear their masks anyway, even when it's not required.

"A video posted on Facebook shows commuters exiting the train, some covering their mouths, with smoke billowing around them." (source; archive)

So everyone is supposed to be masked in the train and station, which I definitely believe they were because most people are obedient fucks who LOVE taking orders and taking it in the asshole.

If masks work, why they covering their mouths from smoke? Just walk normally?

Unless masks don't work.

"Yeah masks don't work against smoke, they protect against the virus" - Some smart fuck probably.

Smoke particles are MUCH larger than virus particles.

Honk honk honk honk 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

I still see some people using masks when entering my pizzaria, no reason, place isnt full, Im not using, almost no one working for me is and he makes sure to pull it up when its exposing his nose.

At this point I legit dont care to get angry with these people, just disappointed.
I can't for the life of me find where they could've gotten this information. Did anyone else hear anything like this?
How can these retards claim they are on the side of science while spreading this kind of nonsense?

You will be surprised at how many preach "established facts/science" tend to be the most idiotic intellectual hollow betas you have ever seen.

Im astounded (well, was, I kind of gotten used to it after 3 years) at how stupid the common man revealed itself to be.
I have a way more respect for the vaxxies who keep drinking the kool aid than the mouthy pro jab faggots who are quietly keeping their distance from shot number 4.

If you are going to be a retarded moron, at least stick with it (no pun intended) to the end.

These "I wont take another shot" pricks basically admit that they know the shots dont work but are too arrogant/guilt ridden to admit they were wrong.

Its one of those "instead of apologising, I will remain quiet and pretend I wasnt part of the problem." situations you see all over through history. You can see all over with nazi and communist sympathizers when Nazi Germany and Communist Russia fell...suddenly they never supported them, ever.

I have a legit hatred for these sort of people.

"You are going to get the cold again...and again...and again"

I sleep

*replace "cold" with "covid"*

REAL SHIT
I think a lot of us have noticed that even among the vaxxers the twice vaccinated seem to fair way better than the thrice vaccinated who not only seem to catch it easier but also keep catching it, I dread to think how fucked you are after four shots.

Death is the ultimate evidence of natural selection in this case. We gotta find a way to thin the herd of morons driving us to Idiocracy SOMEHOW, dont we?

I had a "live and let live" mentality with them. After what they did 3 years, not anymore.

DIE
The people at my work were pissing themselves with fear because "Covid is on the rise again!!!" and apparently the new variant mimics seasonal allergies. You get congestion and sniffles, and maybe a headache and teary eyes. Wowiee, so much death and destruction will be on the horizon. Better prepare the mandated second booster for everyone!

"Yeah, Covid is back, cool but is there a vaccine in the works for the inflation? An inflation CAUSED by the REACTION to Covid? Not the virus itself."
I wonder if the ones that are 3-4 times vaccinated are taking more risks because they think they're protected.

edit
I'd been feeling weird lately and I remembered something I had read last year about someone saying that after being vaccinated they "couldn't feel God" and while I'm not religious by any means, I do feel a specific sort of disconnect since the 2nd vaccine. Might be nothing.

Dont worry, that means you took the mark of the beast and is probably damned to Hell now.
But hey, good thing you dont believe in any of that stuff, huh?
Oh no, a president won't let a random NGO override his country's basic tenants over nebulous and ever-changing (goalpost-moving) conditions.

I love how they try to publicly shame and pressure him, but the President does not give a single fuck.

Bolsonaro is what Trump wishes he could be, ngl. He was proven right constantly about this plandemic and nobody had the guts to even fucking admit it (much less apologise for it).

Then again, Lula could always just "fair and honest" election his way this year Biden styled (doesnt help most of his buddies are involved in the counting of votes) so who knows what might happen.

hey @The handsome tard (post too long to quote)

At this point I legit dont care to get angry with these people, just disappointed.
Same here with looking at Japan. Who knows what kind of social impact everyone being masked all the time is having over there? But they may have been so traumatized by the coof scare, they may never stop masking up for quite awhile - if they ever stop.

If there's a subject to be angry at over this whole freakshow, it's the tyranny that cooked up "The New Normal" in the first place.

I heard the leader of Singapore is proud that Singapore is a "nanny state".

Singapore is an interesting and very different kind of society. They're hyper-authoritarian in the ancient Chinese style of handing out extremely harsh punishments for small crimes to deter them utterly. Lee Kuan Yew famously made comments about how he didn't care if people had rights as long as society was safe and orderly, and that basically Chinese people naturally prefer it that way.

He also had a scheme to improve population fertility where they paid college graduate women to stay home and have babies instead of losing their eggs finding a career. To paraphrase, he basically said "If you make smart women work instead of having kids, your population will become retarded."

He's always been controversial in the West but people in Singapore love his party even long after his retirement so he must have been right about what they wanted.

How authoritarian is Singapore, compared to the likes of Canada and Australia? If a Trucker Convoy situation were to happen in Singapore, would the truckers suffer worse punishment than the ones in Canada?

It's not the same kind of thing. The government of Canada hates native White Canadians and wants them to die. The government of Singapore loves its native Chinese and knows its future rests on them, but it treats them like they're children who need a harsh father (and the government is that father). The way they live is deeply affected by that relationship. A trucker protest style protest would never happen because the relationship and trust between the government and governed is totally different. Whether they're right or not who knows, but the conditions are different.

When I say they're authoritarian I mean that the government doesn't tolerate anything that they consider to be anti-social. The police will tan your hide raw and bleeding with a bamboo cane if you drop a cigarette on the sidewalk, and if you peddle drugs you'll be quickly executed by hanging.

With the anti "nanny state" and anti corporal punishment stances I have, living in Singapore sounds very unappealing.

Especially after 2020 with the societal impact of the coof.

For all that people make bugman memes about China, East Asians seem to genuinely like living under a controlling nanny state as long as it gives them safety and a homogeneous society.
