It seems to me that, whatever Jazz's mental and emotional deficits stemming from the puberty supression, he was farther along a few years ago than in this most recent season. I attribute this regression to that "new psychiatric drug cocktail."

And honestly I can't help but be suspicious about it. Wanting all these teens to appear child like, and be fed a narrative that unless adults please them they'll commit suicide, and teachers etc encouraging them to keep a secret from their parents?Feel free to toss me the clocks, but puberty blockers stunt brain development on an intellectual level?
I assumed it would mess with emotional maturity, but I never thought intellectual, though it does make sense.
These medicines were developed for kids who had precocious puberty. 5 and 6 year olds who were going through changes they weren’t mentally or physically prepared for. They were never meant to be used on teenagers. Given all the side effects hormone tweaking has on a true and honest woman, I am really dreading finding out the side effects of all of this cross sex and teenage usage.
No, I agree. It’s creepy. And honestly I can't help but be suspicious about it. Wanting all these teens to appear child like, and be fed a narrative that unless adults please them they'll commit suicide, and teachers etc encouraging them to keep a secret from their parents?
How many other secrets will they be asked to keep?
Extreme discomfort with genitals is the #1 sign for sexual assault, that every single childcare worker is taught to look out for. As is keeping secrets from parents.
I worked as a part time nanny during undergraduate, and trained in my country's child safety resources (Australia and caring for foster kids in a family home) and I'm sorry, but the stuff around trans kids looks to be extremely motivated by paedophilia. (Not saying this applies to Jazz! Just the movement overall: all of it)
Eta: why the fuck would Mumsnet be so freaked out by the phenomenon otherwise?? It's a very straightforward mum forum, not even self proclaimed feminist. It's because the gender shit breaks all child safety rules, flagrantly, that parents rely on. 45 year old mothers from Bristol haven't suddenly developed the same niche academic interest for no reason.
Or TLC's editors aren't covering up for him as much now. They need to create storylines, and "Jazz is having a hard time" is better than "Jazz can't get laid or make friends". I suspect he always acted immature, bratty and entitled.he was farther along a few years ago than in this most recent season. I attribute this regression to that "new psychiatric drug cocktail."
Sander is looking like a middle aged retard on bath salts

Hunter S. x Eugene Levy = SandersWe had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline...
It's not that. He's just lazy and extremely obese.I don't think Jazz realizes that regular girls/women, even really femmy ones, wear shirts and jeans.
I'm talking in terms of sheer intelligence. He's either lost IQ points along the way (he was far perkier, more energetic, more humorous, more articulate, etc.; that's not "editing") or is seriously doped up now. Probably the latter leading to the former.Or TLC's editors aren't covering up for him as much now. They need to create storylines, and "Jazz is having a hard time" is better than "Jazz can't get laid or make friends". I suspect he always acted immature, bratty and entitled.
Bratty Jazz isn't something new and it's always been a part of his character and personality. There are two main cases I've already mentioned before, but will mention them again:Or TLC's editors aren't covering up for him as much now. The "therapist" was Jeanette's cousin Debbie, right? That in and of itself was a huge ethics violation. How could Jazz tell that weirdo anything without her going straight back to tell Jeanette everything.Jazz dressing more girly when he was thinner is very fitting with his ideals of women (like AGP, except he doesn't have that). It's easier to pretend to be a cute girl when you have the body for it. Now he's obese, there is no point, even though real women still can be sassy when overweight. He's skipped female adulthood and went straight to menopausal stage of women when they gain weight, dress badly, and overall give up.
Bratty Jazz isn't something new and it's always been a part of his character and personality. There are two main cases I've already mentioned before, but will mention them again:
1. His valedictorian speech. Jazz called a family meeting to cry and tell him he felt overwhelmed because... he had to write a speech. It was a kodak moment for the family to give him validation through hugs and reassurance.
I can't imagine one of my kids doing something like that without being mocked by the others for being such a puss. Besides Jeanette and Sander, check everybody's faces. They know he's full of shit and anyone who's not a moron can tell this kid is a narcissistic brat who needs to be constantly validated and pampered whenever he has any minor inconvenience in life. Watch the video until the end. The whole deal is that there are only a few hours until graduation and he hasn't finished his speech. Wow... Harvard material indeed.
2. Therapy.
Jeanette: I can't handle you, I need professional help to deal with your problems.
Jazz: MOM! YOU THINK SOME RANDOM INDIVIDUAL WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHO I AM AND DOESN'T KNOW MY THOUGHT PROCESSES HAS ANSWERS TO MY QUESTIONS????!?! YOU ARE FRUSTRATING ME!!!! STOP TRIGGERING ME MOM!!!! LOOK, I'M GONNA CLOSE MY EYES TO PROVE YOU I CAN CONTROL MYSELF MOM!! OHMMMMM"
I don't think so. He says the therapist is "a random individual" and he's been seen talking with Deb when he's feeling anxious. I guess Deb gives him the type of validation he needs and he's too childish to understand that a therapist can be both validating and confrontational at the same time. The "therapist" was Jeanette's cousin Debbie, right? That in and of itself was a huge ethics violation. How could Jazz tell that weirdo anything without her going straight back to tell Jeanette everything.
my feeling from those pics? He doesn’t want to be on camera anymore. The smiles in the ugly dress and at pride just look faked. I think at this point he’s just older and wants to live his life as an adult, not a reality star.I'm talking in terms of sheer intelligence. He's either lost IQ points along the way (he was far perkier, more energetic, more humorous, more articulate, etc.; that's not "editing") or is seriously doped up now. Probably the latter leading to the former.
Going off this, and the earlier discussion about the family pushing his buttons, I am thinking Jazz eats to stuff down his feelings. He feels like he has no control to do what he wants (since his mother dominates and is belittling) and if he has any doubts about his transition whatsoever, he can't really let himself consider them and everyone else will just brush away his feelings or just say it's stress from transphobia (so not really letting him feel listened to) so he finds comfort the only way he can. It also doesn't help that he is was made into a 'trans icon,' so he can't openly say anything against his transition lest he face backlash from the more adult figures in his life and possible death threats by the trans loonies.BREAKING NEWS: MAN FOR WHOM FOOD IS ONLY SOURCE OF COMFORT OR PLEASURE IS MORBIDLY OBESE; MORE AT 11
YES. I believe he overeats, but that alone doesn't explain 100 lbs in the speed that it came. Plenty of 21 year old guys can eat that shit and do just fine. If they are overweight, they aren't that overweight. I believe it's physically impossible for the surgeries/hormones/puberty blockers to have played zero role in his weight gain. His family has no genetic history of obesity like most 21 year old death fats people do.I don't know why people have to make overeating more complicated than it is. Eating is pleasurable, and it's the only pleasure in life Jazz gets... Period...
A 21 y.o. with normal physiology, not screwed up with hormones and psychiatric drugs, could probably get away with some Ben and Jerry's, but Jazz, with her ruined body chemistry, cannot.

I said...hormones and psychiatric drugs. Mostly the latter since he's reportedly been put on something new (probably an antipsychotic that was added after the failed first Harvard attempt), and that's when he put on the extra 100 pounds. It's not that complicated... And before you say antipsychotics can't pack on an extra 100 pounds, yes, they can.YES. Oh, I believe it. I think it's everything combined. But they're going to say that all the transition treatments and psych meds had nothing to do with it, and he's just an inexplicable food addict.I said...hormones and psychiatric drugs. It's more like after 50 or 60, but yeah, menopause is a bitch.I've said it before, I'll say again: gaining weight through pills and hormones is different than weight gained by only overeating...welcome to womanhood, kiddo. You went straight to menopause. After 30 or 40, due to hormonal changes, some women can't go back to their previous weight, ever. Or if they do, is way harder than it was before.
