America fighting very lightly armed sand niggers and goats for the past few decades fucked the perception of war.

The Russians, despite all of their mistakes and copes for those mistakes, are fighting a heavily armed and modern army with all the toys and gizmos and free western intelligence help.

And gaining experience from it, which is worth more than bombing goat lovers on some sand dune miles away that can't really fight back.

Admittedly, the logistical experience from sustaining significant force deployments in the middle east was decent practice on that front.

That soldier in the video, she's probably facing a lot of shit. At best, that sort of thing going viral pretty much guarantees you're never moving off the shit list of your CO's, and at worse is a discharge outta service. The woke military is a double edged sword, you can't hurt other peoples feelings by bitching out over a situation either.

Fwiw they've found ways around that legal hiccup, though I haven't tried it myself to verify if it's as good as the regular old stuff.
Basically they skirt the law by extracting/converting the D9 from hemp as opposed to flower. It's very grey area but for now it's a loophole they don't seem to care about closing, so recently there have been some of the old hats in the DNM weed scene who have converted their equipment to doing hemp extraction of D9 and just selling it to gas stations for lower risk and higher profit margin.

Just since this is the Biden thread I'll tie it to him - it's a benign loophole and they should be focusing on other shit but they probably will end up closing it eventually just because Biden is Obama 2.0 and that's the sort of shit Obama did behind the scenes while telling everyone how totally cool weedbro he was.

I know, but you can still buy it at almost any smoke shop. It's due to the farm bill, they just keep the D9 under the legal limit/weight. You can get gummies and shit with 15mg of Delta 9 for cheap as hell. The fact it's legal federally but weed isn't is one of the most silly things on the books.

The most infuriating part about it, is the only response the Biden admin has to it is scorn that they couldn't survive a few more months till September 11 and the grand photo op.

No. The even more infuriating part is, had they just taken the L and stuck to Trump's previous plan, those 13 soldiers would most likely still be alive today. But because ORANGE MAN BAD, we now have 13 families who are grieving over the loss of their loved ones, which today puts into even more sharper focus.

The thing with the Afghan pull-out is that the Taliban were going to reconquer the country regardless if Trump or Biden was in office. However I don't think it would have went down nearly as badly under Trump. There was a plan in place to leave and I don't think he would have left many people to the wolves. Biden tore that plan up, didn't come up with a new one, and surprised Pikachu faced it when things turned sour.

No matter what the back story, this "soldier"'s behavior is most inappropriate. At a minimum, this "soldier" should get non-judicial punishment. She sure would have from me, starting with disrespect to a superior commissioned officer. At worst, depending on her past behavior she should be discharged.

Video doesn't show the ranks well, but this "soldier" seems to have some rank, meaning a noncommissioned officer. The tantrum is inexcusable by a private, much less a noncommissioned officer. Also wondered how she made rank; she acts like an "affirmative action" member of the military.

Imo the single biggest fuckup of the withdrawal, after he changed the date and told the Taliban to pound sand for no reason, was closing Bagram.
Even with everything else going tits up we probably still could have salvaged it if we had an actual secure airfield and base of operations to run evac planes from.
Instead, madness. Madness and stupidity.

And that they have learned nothing. As they and Colonel Vindman sit at the Pentagon stuffing their faces with donurs, they're more than eager to send more of our sons and daughters into the Ukraine meat grinder. They'll end the world protecting their money laundromats.
