I read this garbage article and stopped at the imaginary genre "afrofuturist science fiction".John Flynt and Elon Musk both love the same book. One of them understands it; one of them doesn't.

The reason the Jordan uses names of actual authors and books except when referencing the "major speculative traditions such as feminist and Afrofuturist science fiction" isn't because nobody but dangerhairs and flagellating whites have heard of them, there are simply too many books and short stories to mention. And, they all manage to be equally influential! It would be disingenuous to name only one or two given the impact these very well known traditions have had. Detailing these works would have derailed the entire article and he made the correct decision to quickly and vaguely reference them.I read this garbage article and stopped at the imaginary genre "afrofuturist science fiction".

There’s Black Panther. But really that’s Africa as imagined by Americans.I'm pretty sure the closest sci-fi has gotten to afrofuturist is the rhasta guys from Count Zero if you disregard authors only known by academics involved in identity politics.
I don't know. Of all the things John claims he's done, reading TMIAHM is one of the things so stereotypically male that I am sure he actually did it. Or at least held the book in front of his fat little chubby boy teenage face for a while moving his eyes back and forth while occasionally turning pages. Like Otto in A Fish Called Wanda, though, he can readRetarded English prof at the University of Puget Sound demonstrates that John Flynt isn't the only one who doesn't understand Elon Musk and The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress. Like John, the prof has apparently not even read the book.
What we need is a data-driven, tough-love approach advocated by policy genius John Walker Flynt.

The glory of Rome would have gone on uneclipsed for another 10,000 years if only the patricians had been given Porches to drive around in.

I was only thinking about books. I can't believe I forgot the classic short film Gayniggers from Outer Space. And Professor Jordan S. Carroll is such an authority on the topic of afrofuturism that when he references a Samuel R. Delany novel in one of his tweets about his bullshit Heinlein essay, he gets the title wrong, calling it Stars in the Pockets Like Grains of Sand. He and John Flynt share the same high standards and pride in a job well done. (Plus, Prof. Carroll bears a striking resemblance to younger, healthier version of the cow known as Iconoclast.)
I mean, yeah, if you ignore all the times people who are trained to stop shooters with guns stopped said shooters with guns, it's not surprising people without guns have stopped more shootings. That's as dumb as saying mass shooters actually stop more mass shooters because they frequently shoot themselves.
He's played through the entire Mass Effect trilogy "at least" 12 times? That means he's played through it more than once a year since the third part came out.

Off the top of my head, I can think of dozens of adults I knew when I was a kid, in all of those examples listed and more. None of these have "highly traumatic events" tied to them, and yet I can picture and name them easily. Either John has a memory like a sieve, or he's pulling shit out of his ass again to justify his moronic point.how is this motherfucker still pulling out random backstory events like is this all on your character sheet?

Someone asked him to elaborate, and he did:

So, assuming he didn't make this up, his evil mega chud Hitler dad saved his leg and maybe his life, and in gratitude, John badmouths him constantly to this day. I get the Hippocratic Oath and all, especially in regards to family, but I know I'd be having second thoughts about it after seeing what John grew up to become.
He's only mentioned this story once before, in a reply to a now-deleted tweet:

He probably has fonder memories of that movie than his parents.
