This is the third time in this thread I'm mentioning being blindsided by troonery on a podcast in the last couple of weeks. I listen to something unrelated and out pops a troon. Like I've been cursed.
I was listening to Behind The Bastards which is usually about horrible people from history and it's often interesting stuff that I didn't know. To be fair, the host is the kind of obnoxious man who would call himself a feminist and if you asked him what he means by that, he'd say that firrrrssst of all sex work is work and transwomen are ackshwally women and way after that I guess women deserve rights. So I shouldn't have been that surprised
Anyway, these two episodes were about "the Internet". Eps. 473 and 474 called "A terrible story about the internet".
The guest I thought was a man until the host introduced Margaret Killjoy, a transwoman. Apparently an author and whatever.
Imagine my surprise when the terrible story about the internet turned out to be about kiwifarms! Two episodes about the horrible treatment of poor Chris Chan. The transwoman guest didn't know who he is. I have my doubts but ok. In fairness, the host did talk about Chris's own nastiness too and didn't paint him as completely void of any responsibility, just mostly. But it was so wild listening to this man address Chris Chan as she, her and Christine while describing all the wildly autistic male shit he has done over the years. When we got to the most important part aka. Chris Chan raping his own mother with his penis, we are told we aren't exactly sure that this happened because poor Christine has been baited many times into saying "she" did things "she" didn't do. Sure.
They were also horrified that when Christine was arrested "she" was admitted as female and then dumped deservedly with males.
The transwoman guest was so uncomfortable that the story they're covering is of a trans degenerate but tried to play it cool. The host only then realized it was maybe uwu insensitive to make a true and honest woman discuss this other true and honest woman but neither could say it. Unintentionally funny.
Transwoman guest had to throw in a bit about how walking around the world as a woman is more vulnerable. Googled Margaret Killjoy and that's a wholeass man.
Tragic.
