That Alex lady has incredible bone structure and could do so much better than her dumpy girlfriend.
Autism fakers are kinda boring, though. I want toobz.

I saw her most recent TikTok (couldn’t see when it was published) and man it was the longest and least entertaining thing I’ve ever seen. A literal video essay. I thought it was never going to end, it was just like one of her blog posts. However, there was nothing particularly new and much of the same stuff she has said before (e: the only thing that indicated to me she might be here is the addition of closed captions). I don’t think she is on here because she is too self centred to not start a bandwagon on medtwitter, rather she has much more exciting things to think about…edit: by the way our dear deaf blind medical student has been aware of her guest appearance on here from pretty much day one, How do I know? Her tiktok videos indirectly refute point that have been made about her here on kiwifarms. Don’t want to take my word for it? Go seek your own evidence.

I mean, the online autism community is absoutely batshit and can be really entertaining. But it is less munchie antics and mostly infighting and reeeeing that therapy or research in general is literal genocide (and that it isn't a disability, unless there is something they don't want to do in which case it is sooper debilitating).Autism fakers are kinda boring, though. I want toobz.
Unlike what you'd expect from the term "elective," elective surgery doesn't mean "optional" or "unnecessary," just that it isn't being performed as an emergency. A hip replacement or a coronary bypass can be elective if you planned with your surgeon to come in for it next Thursday at 11am.What the trans want is not rights, it's privileges. No one tells you that you can't get married or visit your same-sex partner in the hospital because of the work of normie gays. getting your elective surgeries on demand paid for by tax dollars is not a right.
Thanks, I'll change it to "cosmetic" in the future, I suppose. Or just plain "not necessary."Amazing work; your scholarship continues to be impressive.
Brief clarification on healthcare terminology, weirdness of:

When elective procedures were recently cancelled for census, staff and supply issues, it didn't just mean people were walking around with sadness about their too big/too little titties. The scheduled bone-on-bone knee replacements got kicked out another month, but if you snapped your humeral head falling off the stepladder, they wouldn't send you home from the ED like that, you'd still get it replaced.
Not to to turn this into a psychology lecture but from my understanding the way to tell BPD from Aspergers/HFA is that BPDs are highly manipulative (requires some degree of social skill) and make new friends/attach easily while autists tend to be more introverted and anxious around new people. Also autism is present from birth while BPD is acquired around adolescence from trauma.I like ‘autism parents’ because it amuses me to see ‘#actually autistic’ scum bags seethe, rage and possibly dilate, beyond that though it’s awful to see someone’s vulnerable moments being exploited when they lack the capacity to comprehend why the hell is a camera stuck in their face.
Autism fuckery is very milky and diverse- there’s something for everyone, from crazy, pseudo scientific bleach treatments and stem cell injections to munchies and straight up malingerers, ’community‘ infighting and unhealthy levels of woke fuckery.
From my understanding, the point at which high functioning autism diverges from cluster B disorders isn’t clear cut. Functionally, what is the difference between BPD ( black and white thinking, difficulty maintaining relationships, unstable mood)+ sub par social skills and certain presentations of high functioning autism?
Fake stimming is hilarious, way to go, turning making an absolute fool of yourself in to a trend, what ever will future generations think? I’ve never met a severe autist who stims like some of the tiktok stimmers.
If you aren’t already familiar with this, let me introduce you to unmasking, a process some ‘autistics’ go through where they intentionally stop using social skills they have learned and embark on a journey of making themselves look as tard as possible, the brit bong brand of unmasking uniform includes children’s dungarees in an adult size, a sunflower lanyard, very conspicuous ear defenders, greasy danger hair plus stim toys. It’s all done under the guise of ‘protecting mental health’, pretending to be normal whilst autistic has got to be difficult in some situation, there’s coping strategies that you can learn for that which don’t involve munching histrionics.

i mean it makes sense. You have these young people who get diagnosed with autism, go on Tiktok and see all the other people in the autism hashtags "stimming" and rocking and think that's how they're supposed to act too, or how they can act for attention. Not to to turn this into a psychology lecture but from my understanding the way to tell BPD from Aspergers/HFA is that BPDs are highly manipulative (requires some degree of social skill) and make new friends/attach easily while autists tend to be more introverted and anxious around new people. Also autism is present from birth while BPD is acquired around adolescence from trauma.
Now the tricky thing is that you can have comorbid autism and BPD which is incredibly common in HFA women due to autism making you more susceptible to trauma due to social naïveté and potential neglect from unknowingly autistic parents (remember its hereditary).
I’m personally of the unpopular opinion that some of these “autism fakers” on Tiktok actually do have autism but they are greatly exaggerating their symptoms to elicit more sympathy from normies and in some cases to get out of responsibility for coping with their issues. But most are fakers.
The reason why I though she was aware is because she claimed on Tiktok that she able to draw intricate pictures as she has a visual memory, despite not being able to see her work as a whole, shortly after it was mentioned on here.I saw her most recent TikTok (couldn’t see when it was published) and man it was the longest and least entertaining thing I’ve ever seen. That’s right! Alexandra was on TV today to tell the country of her plight! The parallels with Evie astound me. And much like after Evie’s TV appearance I will be looking out for public opinion towards Alexandra.
Edit: yep, the myth busting vids were made in advance of the TV appearance. She’s on Twitter replying to people in the comments questioning her.
Also, I realise in her TikTok’s she is wearing scrubs. I don’t think she’s back at medical school this term (since she’s too busy rushing to TV appearances and making video essay TikTok’s) but she’s in her bedroom. She’s put the scrubs on for costume because hospitals are strict on wearing them outside work since Covid.
Autistic women will do anything to fit in, including exaggerating their symptoms? Not to to turn this into a psychology lecture but from my understanding the way to tell BPD from Aspergers/HFA is that BPDs are highly manipulative (requires some degree of social skill) and make new friends/attach easily while autists tend to be more introverted and anxious around new people. I feel bad for her future patients. Imagine that your health is in the hands of someone who thinks hiking alone while deafblind is a good idea.LINK - 20 October 2019
Alexandra recounts the multiple times she's been lost in the woods, not because she's deafblind but because she chose to go off the safe path. She also once went into respiratory arrest on a mountain, which she believes should be made wheelchair accessible. She also once got her white cane stuck in mud. Alexandra, once she completes Medical School^TM and becomes a Doctor^TM, will be the one to save the NHS from drowning in mud.
