Another zoomer from America, can confirm that round letters are a dumb shallow girl thing. That's such an interesting social trend. I wonder if languages with a completely different script, for example Mandarin or Arabic, have a similar trend.

I'm autistic and definitely have the stereotypical spidery handwriting, it got better over the years after working to make it legible though.

This is how religion and medicine should intersect imo. God made doctors so that people could have medical care, because he's too busy being an all-powerful deity to personally intervene in everyone's life constantly.

But instead, we have tard babies being kept alive and suffering indefinitely because that's what God wants? It doesn't make sense to me, but certain people just love using their religion to justify every choice they make.

A close friend lost her nephew to suicide this weekend.

last I saw he was at the major hospital in the area being prepped for transplant.

these parents letting their kids be mechanically alive should have to hear from my poor friends sister about how she came to that decision.

a very dear mate of mine also roped recently, didn't quite pull it off. A week on life support like archie and thankfully the family let him go without a fight when the brainstem test showed he was gone.
That's probably why I'm obsessed with this right now. That week when we had to sit and wait was unbearable. We had to ask ourselves do we actually want him to survive as a vegetable? Is it so awful to wish for a swift release in this case? I can see why the mother has gone off the rails. I swear I felt it in my heart when they turned off the machine. We knew it would some time that day.

Irrelevant to the thread but his was a major peaking incident for me when I realised the LGBT movement had pretty much abandoned young gay men, who were falling into a fucked up culture of chemsex, getting AIDS and just going into a spiral. I keep seeing it happen to my friends and its not even being talked about. There was no support at all to help them climb out of it. . It's all rainbow pin badges and fucking pronouns and we aren't apparently allowed to acknowledge that old school gays still exist, some of them are straight acting with normal fucking hair, they're not on tumblr and they're drowning.

I'm honestly surprised since I kind of assumed penmanship among zoomers would be worse overall due to using screens earlier in life and way more often. Did you have to submit that much hand written material in school, like full on essays? And do those stupid bitch girls just sit around practicing their slow curvy handwriting? You'd think that would cut into their being bitchy online time way too much.

Regarding poor Archie, I suppose his accident is pretty clear cut except for whether or not it was an "accident." But do any med or legal kiwis know if, in a situation where the cause of his injury wasn't so clear, would a situation like this screw up an autopsy? Like when he finally eventually is allowed to pass, would they be able to look and know how he died, or would it be useless? I guess I'm wondering if he's not legally dead and there's no death certificate now that says strangulation or whatever, what will his official cause of death be when he's finally let go?

I basically stated that gay men were completely abandoned and are viewed by the LGBT retards as part of the "privilege". Your story is a counterpoint that false idea.

I can't speak on post pandemic online schooling, but when I was in school, fully written essays were expected, but if you so pleased, you could be a try-hard and type. And yes, the dumber girls would take their time and wonder why they never met deadlines and usually had to ask for extensions. Myself though, I taught myself cursive specifically because I wanted to write faster.

The Archie/Hollie Dance saga is both tragic and infuriating - I understand and empathise with grief and denial, but there’s also so much stupidity and lack of education.

Particularly when she said in that early video something like ‘only God can choose to end his life’.

Her ‘God’ would have already ended his life if it hadn’t been for massive medical intervention, but now that same medical system that ‘saved’ him is deliberately deceiving her and trying to kill him for some unknown reason? You can’t have it both ways!

At least the UK has some legal precedent/history with this - he’ll be allowed to die, eventually.

(I’m veering rather off topic, and should probably spoiler this, but I’m currently feeling too lazy to figure out how. One of my many morbid interests is conjoined twins. There was a legal case in the UK - conjoined twins the doctors wanted to separate. One twin was much weaker, and not viable, she would inevitably die during/after the separation. The other twin had a good chance, but not if she remained conjoined, then she would die too. The parents were from Malta, very Catholic and very young, and generally, understandably, pretty freaked out. They wouldn’t agree to the separation because that was essentially deciding to kill the weaker twin, and they felt that was wrong. It went to court, the operation went ahead, the weaker twin died, the other twin thrived, in a follow up interview many years later they were very much not unhappy with the outcome, and said something along the lines of ‘We’re now very glad that God had the doctors to help him’. )

I'm surprised they if might not know that in the Bible, one of the titles that God is called is 'The Great Physician' and one of the authors of the four Gospels was a physician. So 'Doctor' shouldn't be a bad word.

This tracks. All the girls who wrote like the sample I posted above were taught with the modified Palmer. The schools where I am switched to D'Nealian in the aughts but I have no idea what method they use now, or whether formal handwriting curriculum is even a thing anymore.

The other day I was trying to describe our schools nice but dim SENCO to a friend and all I could come up with was "you know those girls at school who did really round handwriting and maybe little circles or even a heart to dot the I" and she immediately knew what I was talking about.

I think this is the point. Only a certain type of person does the writing exactly as its taught. I have read that adding flourishes like long curly tails on your Ys is commonly seen with ADHD kids.

OK so it's clear the hospital have trolls on my wall so troll this ...my so called brain dead child that hasn't been able to be tested because he was pumped full of muscle relaxin drugs which had I of had corrupt examiners who never carried out machine tests 1st wouldn't of been able to respond. Test was terminated and no brain death was pronounced . In his 25 yrs experience he has never come across this before .it was them who asked if he had muscle relaxin drugs 3 times not me. Also the only medication Archie is on is as follows ... 15% vasopressin to control urine output. So I'm assuming 85% is being made up from the brain . Hydrocortisone 4.3ml an hr and finally levothroxine 100 micrograms onve daily . That's it just 3 . Also 9 bags of fluid were put up night of test to flush out whatever Archie was pumped with . So pls keep stalking my posts hospital trolls but make sure u report back that I've got enough evidence to back every single thing u have done and its all going to be uncovered in due course .
