tl;dr Tom doesn't just try datura he owns it. Datura just makes him sweat a little and see the walls breathe. Salvia is kids shit, and mushrooms don't even work on him. He eats peyote for breakfast, and invented molly-flipping in 1969 during an mdma and hallucinogen fuelled orgy hosted by Timothy Leary where he not only met Cheech and Chong, but told them a story about smoking dog shit they later stole and incorporated into their film.

Tom probably avoids hallucinogens these days. His entire sense of self is a rickety patchwork skeleton of lies and falsehoods, barely kept aloft by a constantly reapplied layer of drugs and fetishistic indulgence all protected by a steel suit of indignation and narcissistic self-delusion. All it would take is one errant thought to pierce through and he would never be able to recover.

Hallucinogens are known for helping people see the truth and dissolving ego, but I posit; if Tom's ego dissolved, would there truly be anything left?

If you wanna hear some unfortunate yet hilarious stories, go to that drug website, erowid, and read basically any of the user experiences with datura.

They all literally end with wrecked cars, hospital visits, and jail cells.

It’s some of the most dangerous garbage you could ever subject yourself to, The best part about it, all the users say the trip is very unpleasant long before the vehicular homicide and the felonies.

10 Benadryl would only be 250mg if we're talking typical Benadryl pills. Might get some minor hallucinations, restless leg, and loss of balance, but he'd need to take 500-700mg to get a datura-like experience.

Just want to be helpful in Tommy's new drug adventure!

How does one take datura?

Do you crush it up and snort it? Smoke it? Place a Datura leaf under your tongue? Please educate me, Tom.
