In short, the BBC changed the testimony of a rape victim because the rapist was a MTF troon. The victim referred to the rapist with male pronouns, but the BBC decided to change his pronouns to be more "inclusive".
I've seen plenty of websites call MTF troons "she" and "her", but to change direct quotes from a rape victim is really something else.
Oh, it also appears that the BBC has a 14 person central diversity team which has basically taken over the style guide that influences what journos can and can't say.
