No. It goes to appeals which may adjust damages, that can take easily a year (or more if deliberatelty dragging it out)

Bankruptcy isnt a magic make debt go away button. A judge reviews what can and cant be discharged and judges are loath to basically undo another judges court case and usually wont dismiss anothers judge case de facto by bankruptcy.
