"Everything feels fucked, and I'm not buying your bullshit" in 3 graphs.

The first is an economic confidence index. The blue line is expectations of the economy (in like 6 months), the red is how you feel now about the economy, and the yellow is the average.

A notable development just occurred where the blue line is now lower than the red, meaning people have officially run out of ultra-strength copium and know "shit's bad and it is getting worse."

Economic feeling among the populace is down, so wrong track skyrockets to 70.1%. These are some of the highest they've been at.

Finally, the front man, Biden, who says its never his fault, and has the entire media on his side, still has his approval in freefall. His disapproval cracked 60% recently and shows no sign of slowing down. If we weren't in clown world, he would probably be in the 70s in disapproval, and writing a resignation letter for the midterm destruction his party will go through.

it will be ignored and uncle joe will not talk about it
At best, he'll maybe say a few words of condolences on TV, but won't actually visit. He'll probably use this to push for more gun reform, even though he has a stronger case on pushing through reform by emotional guilting others by reminding them of the Uvalde shooting.

So what exactly is going to happen soon when the price of gas gets too high for the working class to afford?
Nothing good. I give it till August before we see the collapse. Gas will be unaffordable for all Americans, except for a few. Supply chain will be shut down completely. People will become desperate. Neighbor will fight neighbor. Blood will be shed. Martial law will be declared.

Hold your family close.

The elite are wary of making the Secret Service into the new Praetorian Guard.
Ngl, I'd kinda want to see a world where the Secret Service murders the President and sells the office to the highest bidder.

You're definitely right about that, bc they've already succeeded in turning this country into Qing China: leaders living in an ivory tower with a creaky inefficient bureaucracy entirely dominated by eunuchs

Let's see how fat dems would try to blame trump after that happens

Only in this case, they're either fucking each other or children

People are just going to quit their jobs since it is just not viable anymore.
Lots of expensive places depend on the working class living 1-2 hours down the freeway and commuting into work every day because they can not afford housing any closer than that. This includes school teachers, janitors, restaurant workers, retail workers, council workers, nurses, etc etc.
These people will just quit and stop going in to work.

What happens when large fractions of these people just stop showing up for work?

Sorry.

Still ridiculous.

Brandon: "We'll stand by you, Ukraine!"
Zelensky: "So, can you give us rockets to blast Russia to smithereens?"
Brandon: "LOL NO."
This is a surprising wise move from the Biden administration - it helps ensure that the conflict doesn't escalate further.
Depending on your state, they will issue something called a "Gas Tax Suspension" like they are doing here in NY (Archive: https://archive.ph/PTJb3 )
That doesn't fix the base problem - that our domestic energy supplies are being deliberately choked off by the imbeciles in charge - and only causes longer term problems as now suddenly these states have giant holes in their budget.

The goal is not to fix the issue. The goal is to point and say "i/we did something to help!" During midterms.

The reality is simple: Upon joining the secret service, you‘re effectively set for life and can just do your job. No one is gonna expect you to take out a sitting or former President “or else” simply because the idea of that happening to the POTUS means that literally everyone in Congress is next. People in general hate Congress, but half the country loves Trump.

Also, as the incident in South Korea shows, they probably hold their opinion of you as a person in higher regard than orders from the political sphere. Everyone knows Hillary is punishment detail, there were leaks about Biden’s behavior and Obama’s ego. But all Trump leaks came from side staffers, not the Secret Service.
Secret Service is a legit prestige position for very talented people. Not all of them, mind. They have their diversity hires too, but it's usually the outward facing PR sorts of positions.

If SS was pozzed, then they wouldn't need to try and make the Capitol Police into their new Stazi.

I feel kind of fortunate that I will probably have some job security if there's a big economic collapse. I'm in the trades and 90% of my clientele are wealthy enough to ignore a crash. I'm less concerned about mass quitting and more concerned about mass layoffs due to businesses losing their customer bases. Pretty much any business that mostly serves middle/lower class.
