In addition to IBLP, the SBC (Southern Baptist Convention) is also pretty bad, recently a recent independent sexual abuse investigation report came out this week with years upon years of stuff that just completely got ignored by them or covered up. This is more because he's soft and weak than because he's a pedo. People who pick kids as their victims tend to be a particular sort of person. But if you're willing to kill the person who comes after you in prison you can have a trail of child bodies and no one will touch you.

It's also a good example that prisons are run by lifers. You beat the crap out of someone, so what? What are they going to do, give you a second life sentence (loss of privileges, the hole for a bit)?

Josh will have a rough time because he's not going to be put in some low security prison with a garden. I expect he'll be sent some place with serious violent offenders and he's not going to fit in.

I mentioned this in Jill's thread, but one thing I noticed is they always talk about God and say stuff like "God's wants us to do this" and stuff like that rather than saying Jesus or really talking about Jesus compared to talking about God. Seagoville has a sex offender program, Texarkana doesn’t. His lawyers requested Seagoville. Based on skimming the handbooks it doesn’t seem like they have specific wings for chomos, just Administrative Segregation and that means Josh won’t have access to commissary. AdSeg at Seagoville has a very truncated list and Texarkana you get nothing.

Idk, my take is that the problem of real kids getting abused is so bad, all the energy people have needs to be focused on fighting that first and foremost, before worrying about fictional ones.

On a very related note, does anyone know if the cops ever got the authority to interview Anna's kids? I know she was trying to prevent them from being able to, likely because she knows damn well those kids have been abused.
