It would've been understandable if Phil was a casual fighting game player(I'm a casual that loves fighting games and I didn't notice the parries until Max pointed them out), but of course, this is the same dude who used to call himself a "former pro fighting game player" while complaining about other players being scrubs and not understanding fundamentals.

I wonder if Phil realizes how screwed he is with this Rambo and Howard react video, seeing as how much it exposes him to be a shitty person, and no amount of "research" and pigsplaining will fritter the scummy parts away. What if he comes up with a "I can't find the original video, so we're only going to do chunks" to get around that?

Well, An1337 answered my question. Guess a mass pignosis is incoming. He wouldn't back out now with some bullshit excuse, would he?

I'm listening to this, and one word comes to my mind.

Overcompensation. He's trying so hard to be the complete opposite of the man that John and Howard are describing in their podcast that he ends up doing the opposite.

It's why he's making such a big production of limiting monetization of the video. He's trying to show that he isn't a greedy scumbag by not monetization. The problem is that it's very transparent and appears to be fake.

True change occurs over time and often very slowly. In the years that I've been observing him, he really hasn't changed all that much. He's still a narcissistic manipulator who has managed to isolate himself.

I fully expect tomorrow's podcast/react video to be nothing more than deflection and apologies when he can benefit from it. He's going to try to protect his ego, and the only apologies will come when he feels it's safe for him to do so.

 

[Let's recap the situation]

Sorry, Rambo and Howard, but I can't just turn off all monetization on this drama stream and avoid doing the one thing you didn't want me to do: make money off of deceased friends (again). I have a business to run.

Also, I disagree with the above, but because I'm a good guy and all, I'll meet you in the middle and pretend until I finish recording, sounds good? Sounds fucking good to me.
