Lesbian General Thread for True & Honest Women who love True & Honest Women - (Lolfag) Media, memes, discussion & more

I wonder how the rate compares to straight women? Like are lesbian/bi women at higher risk of abuse from male partners than straight women, or is it about the same?
I would suggest that lesbian women would be more comfortable or open talking about it. Domestic violence is a shameful thing. Women who experience it are often looked down upon and seen as weak or looking for attention if they don't fight back or simply leave. Lesbians are frequently involved in feminist organisations and movements and feel like they can speak out about it, where a heterosexual woman might feel like she needs to conceal the fact that she's been a victim, even if the relationship where she experienced the violence has ended.

That's a good point. I'd imagine it's more extreme in poorer, more conservative areas too. I know one of my friends with fundie parents had a woman at her church who had to divorce her violently abusive husband, and was completely shamed and ostracized by the church for it (like they banned her from having any leadership roles or helping Sunday school or anything, because apparently divorce is worse than beating your wife idk).

That said, I know lesbians exist even in pretty rural, middle of nowhere areas here and like half of them end up into reptiles (along with a good chunk of rural working class small town lgbt ppl in general I feel like).

Are we talking bearded dragons or Facebook because I can completely agree with that assessment.
Actual reptiles, like beardies and stuff (or snakes, or bugs in my case).

I think marginalized people sometimes end up relating to marginalized animals, plus there are a lot of misunderstood native reptiles in my neck of the woods (like venomous snakes and snapping turtles).

I got gators and alligator snapping turtles. Unfortunately also rattlesnakes and what nots.
Fun story: I saw a hawk swing a rattlesnake off the ground and land it right at a campsite where I heard screams. Animals got a sense of humor for sure.

Rattlesnakes are fortunate, as long as you don't mess with or step on them they're chill. In my state eastern diamondbacks especially really need to be given some kind of legal protection but unfortunately lawmakers don't want to because ewww snake.

Eastern diamondbacks are hit particularly hard since they're native to the long-leaf pine ecosystem, which has been largely destroyed. They also take a long-ass time to mature and reproduce, and of course are persecuted by humans for being rattlesnakes.

I don’t trust snakes but as long as hunting seasons exist and they’re regulated I’m fine with it. I also had an encounter with a Black Mamba during a vacation, I still can’t run as fast as I did that day.

I trust snakes more than humans. Unfortunately there is no regulated hunting w/snakes, like you can just slaughter a bunch of pregnant female rattlesnakes and it's cool legally as long as it wasn't a national park or w/e. Even regulated hunting would be an upgrade from what it is now.

Mambas are one of the few snakes that actually will chase you, but that's because they live in Africa and deal with tons of predators like honey badgers and secretary birds and meerkats and shit so they have to be more aggressive.
What the fuck is a marginalized animal?

Am woman faggot, like beardies and snakes, but that's because they are cute and nice
Animals that are hated, persecuted, and misunderstood by humans. So like snakes, sharks, etc

Yeah that damn Mamba sure as hell chased me. I said this story in another thread so I’ll need to find it but I ran so fast my legs hurt after. My face was pretty much this when I saw it coming towards me:

Welll yeah, because it knows everything wants to eat it and despite having extremely potent venom, there's a shitton of things that are capable of doing so easily. Hell iirc meerkats and honey badgers even have resistance to snake venom.

Personally I'd rather be chased by a Mamba than a hippo at least. Or any large African herbivore. Now those guys do not fuck around.

The worst out of all are the Water Buffalos, their stampedes killed the most people.

Elephants are amazing but I would definitely not like to be near an angry one.

People greatly underestimate the degree to which herbivores do not fuck around.

On a related note and to get back on the subject of dykes, I hear lesbian horse girls are also a thing. I don't know much about horses myself and ngl they're kinda intimidating (deadliest animals in the US along with cows), but I could see how they'd be something lots of dykes like since there's a lot outdoorsy stuff&hard work associated w/them.

Am horse enjoyer, horses are fantastic. If they were predatory and had sharper teeth they'd be a lot scarier, but I love them. If you approach them calmly, with love, patience, and respect, they're not too dangerous (except for crushed bones from their hooves, bucking you off, and the inevitable leg muscle pain, but this is all manageable and the former two are pretty preventable for the most part). Fucking love horses, they're so gentle if you're good to them.

I say Donkeys are better, can you look badass playing a guitar on a horse? N O. You gotta do that on a burro with a poncho and sombrero.

I'll just stick to stuff that's not a couple thousand pounds of neurotic prey animal that could easily kill me with one wrong kick.

Love my snakes and bugs tho, including venomous ones.

@Hepativore there is indeed self labeling on that end and you see a lot of women who only want to date someone who falls into one fashion range. Sometimes its personality too but most "butch" women I have met are <5'5 and easily clockable as women. I also do not like butch/futch(feminine butch like think ellen degeneres style) looking women and with gendy shit now I think this is for the best.

I'm personally a "lipstick lesbian" which basically means I look like a normal feminine Stacy. However, if you can't tell from my posting history and memes.... my entire personality is anything but "girly". My hobbies, interests, areas of study, majority of my lolcows, and how I talk/act is very scrote.

I have never met another woman that says "Words of Power" on the internet as much as myself and that's probably for the best.

Horses wake up every day and vote whose a leader. If you're not it that day they won't listen to you.

I have no issue with horses and quite like them but I hate most "horse people" because those niggers are insane and half of what they do isn't even for the horse it's to make themselves feel good (see: winter blankets, fancy barns, horses in stalls, new shoes for shows, jumping them, shoes in general, riding with bits because you don't know how to ride if you need a bit, pink/purple everything, Braiding manes, cutting tail hair, imprinting foals (this it literally evil), lmao step stools, not gelding your goddamn stallions/breeding, horse racing) basically anything that affects the natural abilities of horses being horses and how they communicate with one another or is an inherent disservice/money grab.

I think women have a tendency to baby horses too much or fall into a crutch of "im wearing a helmet so it's safe". Riding is inherently dangerous... because it is.
Horses are inherently dangerous, because they just are, especially since the modern ones who are fucking huge. (Majority of horses in history were very small all the horses who won wars and conquered vast lands were not giant steeds they were 14hh lil things).

A horse is insanely strong. with a well placed bite on the shoulder a mustang can still lift you off the ground or nip a good part of your skin off. A well placed kick, even a small one, can knock out bones or kill a man.

Even without meaning to, a horse can hurt you. A mistake show jumping from a horse misstep (which I inherently disagree with as a practice) has killed people. Young people too. A fall can break ribs, necks, backs, arms etc. Someone who doesn't speak horse (this includes self proclaimed "horse people") can teach them bad behavior and this can lead to injury or self or others if they figure out a behavior can get them to act a certain way. Horses are smart and always watching and learning. Retraining a horse who rears up to get shit tier unconfident rider to go away is hell if they figure out you're bluffing (because you are not bigger or stronger than them) when retraining them using a flag waving technique to get them to stop.

When you get on a horse, or are by a horse, you are taking an educated risk. It's just as inane to say they're dangerous mindless beasts as it is to say they're perfectly safe. You have to know how to behave properly as a human (aka horses are always watching and learning), know that mistakes can cost you big time, and know that animals will do as they wish to even if they're perfectly good animals.

I say Donkeys are better, can you look badass playing a guitar on a horse? N O. You gotta do that on a burro with a poncho and sombrero.
Donkeys are funny and have a lot of personality. They like to "play" like a dog (throwing up toys in the air and rolling on the ground with them, playing fetch with themselves) and they "hug" you with their necks in a notable way that's adorable when they like you.. They have a lot of feelings and are underrated and based as fuck because they're one of the few prey animals that will go "oh hell the fuck no" and chase down predators like coyotes, foxes etc. (Yaks will do this too, seeing a yak take a snow leopard is peak based.)

Daily, based donkeys are converting horse people to realizing donkey superiority. American Jackstocks are stronger than any shire and can greatly outlast them working in terms of time and weight. Also they're handsome animals.

I'll just stick to stuff that's not a couple thousand pounds of neurotic prey animal that could easily kill me with one wrong kick.

I like all animals but I'm a reptile person at heart. Love crocodilians and monitor lizards most of all. Simple as.

Anything I don't have to feed every day is based. I don't even like having to feed myself every day.

Endotherms are cringe because we have to eat all the time for energy. Don't be cringe. Go cold blooded.

It's hard to find girls who are into the less popular reptiles too. I love beardies and hognoses but like....Most women don't understand the giant fucking tarantula, aldabara tortoise, or the 7ft monitor lizard and why they're essential to life.
