News from Tsunderia

I thought the days for Tsunderia were numbered but suddenly this came out with news of auditions opening soon.

Seems like because it's summer, more auditions may pop up soon.
Tbh if you can just keep hiring random bitches off of the internet for your business and milking them for profit then dumping them when they get smart to your shitty business practices or start infighting it's not that bad of a gig, i think it would be hard to go bust by doing that.

I think the only thing in that list that really gets people is the "Must use some app for selfies" one. Everything else can easily be seen as reasonable requests. The sunglasses thing is there just so she can have some time away from fans because she is bigger than your average cosplayer who shows up to cons for fun, which is totally understandable. If any cosplayer told me I had to take a pic of them using an app, I'd just laugh and opt not to take their pic.
I picture KFPs be on the level of the average smashfag, maybe it's more to their benefit...

The issue is that she still wants to do the whole eceleb thing, but what she can't seem to grasp is that there is a massive trade-off you have to make when you accept the famous life. Once you become a public figure, your ability to control your privacy vanishes. I won't comment on whether that's right or wrong, but it that IS the way it works. She should know this by now, but she's still living in some delusional world where, if she just puts a few restrictions in place, she can still control almost every aspect of her interactions with people like she could when no one knew who she was. Do I think the sunglasses thing is unreasonable? No, I actually think it's a good idea so that her fans will know when she's up for some interaction, but what about the people that didn't see her tweet? Is she going to flip out if some fan of hers 'ignores' her rules and talks to her anyway? It's unreasonable of her to think that some of these demands will do anything except cause her trouble.
there's no "want", she's one, unless you want to imply people are able to completely ignore the roomate, antis included. the only other option at point is not going there. as @Sevatonius said usually stuff takes care of that, either being meet+greet or escorted by them. how many of do you see roaming around basically on their own (+friends)?

as for the sunglasses thing, depends if she loses it when asked (doubt it) or is smart enough to understand not everyone reads twitter and it's just to thin out the people coming up to her when she has them on. given it's not her first con rodeo is why I lean towards the latter. I think it just sounds worse than it is. I also shouldn't have to remind the thread that /cgl/ is a thing, just peruse that board for a bit and suddenly it all makes a lot more sense.

Personally I don't see a real benefit to waiting for a PC port the game is not at all graphically intensive and its perfect switch portable material granted i don't pc game so there could be something im missing making it worth the wait
kinda defeats the purpose if people just emulate it. and at least for me it's a matter of principle, if they want my money they need to offer it in a way I can support them, not gonna buy a switch game without a switch (and I'm not gonna buy a switch for a single game).
I suspect it's more an atlus thing anyway, those cunts won't even do other ports, so I doubt they're open to vanillaware doing it - which is pretty retarded, given how little work it would be and the size of their company, pc sales would be a nice profit for them. just look at all the sega ports like vanquish. but that's atlus for ya.

Salome near 940k subs rn. She's definitely hitting 1 million tomorrow
They really give everything for the name meme. Or they expect something to "happen" after the milestone because of the name. Time will tell

Ayamy has been really giving everything lately. Collabing with Pomu in a couple of hours and releasing her 3D on June 10 during her birthday. Also I was surprised how good her english has become lately.

I read that as ayame and was confused as fuck for a second there...

Scuff clip of Pippa raging.

@Retink You literally cannot fix this.

Remember what Cover said way before firing Rushia? "Talent's personal life is not the responsibility of the company". What Keeki did as Keeki, stays as Keeki

I do agree with what you're trying to say, but Cover's stance is irrelevant because they aren't implicated at all like they were with motives for suspending Rushia. This is very much Keeki's relationship with her fans, and that technically has nothing to do with Hololive.

The problem is that I, along with most sane people, recognise that most of Keeki's fans overlap with Kiara's fans and were in fact probably Kiara fans first. Keeki is better known as the voice of Takanashi Kiara than she is a cosplayer and she herself anticipates this, because she is voicing concerns over what are more likely to be Kiara antis than Keeki antis. This is proven by the fact that Keekihime is not a guest at Dokomi but Kiara is, and Keeki is anticipating such pervasive attention there that she almost knows that people are going to be all over her.

Cosplayers seldom go to a convention with a Fairly Odd Parents-sized rulebook of how they should be approached and what apps you should have on your phone to veil their insecurities. They go there to show off their cosplay and have as much attention/fun as possible.

There's a mutual understanding that Keeki is going there to interact with Kiara fans in person. She is the one blurring that line and it's very difficult for me to sit here and think that Kiara is a non-factor in why she's said what she said and who exactly she's talking to.

She kind of has to hope people won't be retards about mentioning Hololive. Karen was sat at a booth with security near her, but Keeki will just be 'around' and any amount of uncomfortable encounters could theoretically occur.

I'm so happy she figured out how to put in custom music. Now each wrestler has their own theme and there's actual music during the match. OP's gotten real quiet...better make a wellness check
After watching back the vod, she was playing them locally.

That said, sadly one of the few modding functions left is audio file replacements. The newest patch basically restricted most local files thanks to a select rouge group that decided to upload DLC content early. Patches 1.1 to 1.8 never rescricted any mods until the DLC went up early. We can only hope that workarounds or amendments are found, otherwise this will hard-cap 2K22 going forward for more autistic players like me. 2K19 is basically on life support via the modding scene and was on the verge of transitioning over.

Most cosplayers don't stream to 5-10 thousand lonely people every day, 5-6 days a week. Other than the beauty app shit (even taking into account her history with fake fans using candid pictures to make fun of her), anyone in her position should be making requests like this of a potentially troublemaking audience.

If people were going to cause trouble, these tweets aren't going to stop them. If she wanted to avoid it she'd have been better off not announcing that she'd be on the floor in a convention her (open) secret alternate anime persona is headlining.

But the reality is that she wants to interact with KFP in the flesh and so you can't split hairs. Whatever Keeki says to her fans is reflected by what Kiara is saying to KFP. She'd have a lot less people bothering her if she never said anything, but would still also come across the odd straggler that recognises her or even non-fan that likes whoever she may be dressed as. She wouldn't need to create a 'sign' that she's not accepting conversations/photos if she wasn't expecting shitloads of attention.

I want Pomu to play 5 eventually just because I want to see Pequod zipping in for extraction or covering fire, with Diamond city Lights blaring over the loud speaker drowning out Pumu's panic screams because she can't handle action and combat sequences.
I used a-Ha's "Take on Me" specifically to cause the enemy have PTSD and shit themselves whenever they hear the song.
Good times.

Are new vtubers actually growing the pie, or are we at the point where they're just cannibalizing the existing audience?
I feel like the audience is still growing and new people get thrown into the rabbit hole every day although its not at the same rate as it was back when EN debuted. Also, some of the audiences have been "cannibalized" in that people have more of a choice as to what talent to prioritize instead of just picking whatever is available.

Not even the nutjob convention guests in Weeb Wars like Amanda Winn-Lee or DC Douglas have this list of demands.
I get she is trying to filter out shit-stirrers, but this comes off as pretentious.
Trying to filter shit stirrers by telling them exactly how to set you off. This will end wonderfully. For us

I started watching when the NijiEN Males debut out of curiosity, now I am Pomu. So I can assure you that the rabbit hole is becoming more like a metro network system than anything else

I feel some of you get over pessimistic and just assume the worst in everyone and everything. Pages ago people doomposted that something was gonna happen during Karen's con, and all that ended up happening is a few fans just wearing Hololive merch and make some references that were laughed off by Karen and played along. I think it's good that Keeki is setting her boundaries and being forward with people in how she would like to be encountered at the con. However, I feel the execution of it was kinda sloppy and could have been presented better with a less pretentious approach in it. Overall, some of you need to touch grass and take a step back with this fear mongering that something is gonna happen. Fans are autistic but schizoing and assuming everyone is the possibility to be a bad actor is draining and unhealthy approach to it.

Take this cute Crab girl's money before you go as tax:

It's funny how her community and ironmouse community have beef. Getting portrayed as trying to steal ironmouses "husband" and I even believe her name is banned in ironmouses chat. Rainhoe even got to meet Connor in person this past week so I'm sure that must have sent the parasocial shippers into overdrive.
I got interested and checked, Rainhoe is indeed black listed in Ironmouses chat.
I saw she was streaming and I wanted to see what reaction she would have, so notified her in the chat and her sweaty virgin mod almost instantly deleted my message, honestly

I look at the NijiEN graphs because I am a faggot. I will not compare them to other graphs because I could do without getting ass blasted.

Typically, what you'd expect to see is a huge rush-in of attention at the start, and then a constant decline into flatline with maybe the odd bump every now and then if they release a banger song or secure some big collabs.

But look at these:

Not only growth, but unanimous, coordinated momentum across the board, to the point where members have recorded their best month three or even four times this year.

So while I can't determine if the audience is growing or if they're coming from existing fans who want a change of pace, I can say that there is at least a willingness to try new things and support other businesses, and that ebb and flow is quite healthy.

But also: shout-out to Nyanners for tanking her own channel by announcing she has a boyfriend. 5000 twitch subs lost.

Not going to look into this further, but the translation's pretty far off the mark so I wanted to chime in with some corrections. The vtuber in question is 伊万 Ivan and she's a reasonably popular (500k subscribers) vtuber under 雪风军团 Xuefeng Creative Productions. 'Black Heart Company' is just a mistranslation of the original post calling them a black company. This is a new skin of hers; she's been around for quite a while.

The artist's message roughly says, 'Yeah, yeah, whatever you say. I don't think there's an issue and I'm too lazy to explain myself. I'll draw a new skin for Ivan.' The image he posted with it says 'Sometimes I want to explain myself, but a moment passes and I think... Fuck explaining. I did nothing wrong.'

NGA's general opinion is that it's a clear case of copying and dug up some old art from this artist that suggests this isn't his first time doing it, either.
When does Chink ever know shame?

I’m mores surprised how they did not try to spam Bae and Sana seeing that those 2 should be classified as “traitor” because they had chink blood flow in their veins but use English (enemies language by chink standard).

hearing how JEnMa will be there to represent Kiara, I’m low key want to see what’s she look like. What kind of saint manage to reel in a fail Austrian “artist” in this 21st century.

Did anyone actually try to sit through the Dokomi streams?
I honestly tried, but after a few minutes I had to give up. I was just overwhelmed by the pure cringe at display.
By the lack of clips I assume that nothing interesting happened there.
Dokomi clip tax.
(...)"Kaichou wa Maid-sama!" Does anyone know that? (...)
I found that somewhere. I belief as a manga in a library. And through it I developed a huge interest in- Maids.
And for years I wished to work in maid cafe in Akihabra, Japan.
And than I even got multiple maid outfits. At some point I had about 10 different maid outfits at home.
My mami probably thought that it was something perverted or some fetish stuff. But to me it was like totally cute.
Maid outfits are so cute man. *Autistic noise*.
I also wanted to wear fluffy petticoats with an apron on top and than I just wanted to say "MOE MOE KYUN"
And get money for that- to be cute. Yeah. That was very innocent but(...)
