Step 1: Create problem through incompetence or malice (All the shitty whiners derailing threads)
Step 2: Manufacture additional pressure with mobbing and media (Spam Null with complaints about stickers or whatever)
Step 3: Propose a 'solution' that gives you power or whatever (Whatever the spergatroids want)
Step 4: Stop all the mobbing and media pressure you control (Leave Null alone...for now)
Step 5: Repeat until all power is usurped.

I am now seeing retail and food places offering, on top of the $15/hour starting pay* (caveat to the first 40 hours) that they are also offering to pay people the same day. That's fucked up to a point where it's going to create a new type of gig economy based around fucking retail. If pay per day carries through it's going to be a bigger disruptor than sitting at home on unemployment.

I don't know if my old schoolhouse definition of a recession is still in use, but Q1's GDP growth was negative. If Q2 is also negative, then we are and have been in a recession. We can't say definitively we're in a recession, but we may well be and it's perfectly reasonable to speculate that we are.

It didn't take me very long into reading this oped to figure out what the actual message of it is. In short, the author wants the leftist faction of the party to be sidelined for good so that the DNC can end the Cabal Civil War and begin stimulating the growth of RINOs again. It's hard to not come to that conclusion with language like this:

It would curb the power of the Sanders-Warren wing, freeing Biden to pursue the kind of mainstream liberal agenda — his landmark infrastructure law being a good example — that the voters thought they were getting in the first place.

Instead of spending every free minute trying to hold the whiny factions of his own party together, Biden can give statesmanlike speeches in defense of principles that resonate with the broad electorate.

After spending a few paragraphs presenting Biden as a defender of centrism, he then bizarrely pivots to saying that Biden should (after the end of Cabal Civil War) "run against Washington itself" and just... pray the Republicans embarass themselves while in control of Congress?

It then closes by saying that losing the midterms isn't the end of the world, since the end of the world would actually be Drumpf winning in 2024.

Technically, we are not *yet*. You need two consecutive quarters of negative GDP to officially have a recession.

I'm guessing that and uncertainty about what the exact definition of a recession is anyways is why 25% of the population doesn't know if they would consider themselves in one or not.

What I don't need to guess about though is that a pluralty doesn't care about the exact definition and simply rolls their eyes whenever some big city bugman tells them that technically they need to wait another 20 days before it's a recession or whatever.

Realistically, the Democrats are already so dysfunctional that they couldn't do shit with their majority, so its not like losing it will make that any worse.
