My guess is his aides have no idea whats going and just keep trying to corral him or he was asleep in the briefing and brushed it off. Either one is plausible with the hot mess express running the economy into the ground.

A lot of states have caliber restrictions for hunting medium/large game. The idea is that using an underpowered round against a larger animal is inhumane because it's not powerful enough to ensure a clean kill. 5.56 is one of those calibers that has been legally deemed underpowered for deer hunting. I think the common limit is anything smaller than .25 caliber.

I can believe them intentionally keeping him in the dark. His brain is so scrambled it probably doesn't matter if they do tell him or not, but he's easier to corral the less complicated shit they tell him. The idea that the old 90s biden is coming out to get pissed off at people for not doing their jobs, does bring warmth to my heart.


Another thing Ive been thinking about, its interesting how skittish and panicky they were with that security breach. It shows me that they no cards to play without him at the wheel.

5.56 mm when converted into imperial is roughly .22 inches, the same caliber as those super cheap rimfire rounds that you’d shoot at tin cans if you’ve ever been outside of a bughive. This is a varmint round. The 5.56 NATO and .223 Winchester, the parent cartridge of the aforementioned round, while not derived from the .22 long rifle is also based on a varmint round. Think coyotes, foxes, some types of wild boar. It’s just barely capable of putting down some deer. It’s designed to wound people, because 2 jarheads dragging a wounded comrade behind cover is 2 less people shooting back at you because they already know the poor fuck is already dead. There’s more to it than that, of course, but the point remains that anyone that tells you an AR-15 chambered in 5.56 is a uniquely dangerous weapon meant to vaporize you from the inside out is utterly full of shit.

Sure there are gunshot wounds like that, but the overwhelming majority of depictions of any kind of violence on screen is either extremely sanitized or extremely outlandish, the accurate and wide ranging middle ground gets short shrift
