The cope of "Ian has matured! You can't deal with the fact Ian is mature if you're stuck on his old content!" is more pathetic than current year Idubbbz. In what universe has anything Ian has done after the Ricegum Content Cops mature? Making terrible documentaries, shaking up with a personality devoid husk, and being a passive aggressive bitch to someone after they blew up your crappy attempt at a hit piece aren't the actions of someone who has matured, but regressed as a person. The people who still say they enjoy Ian's videos have sunk so much time into watching him, that they can't admit to themselves that their favorite content creator is now on a level of boring that borders on being criminal.
Someone posted up thread that Idubbbz takes on the personalities of the people he's around. The edgy and entertaining Idubbbz was when he was hanging out with the edgy and entertaining people in the Cancer Crew. He's taken on Anisa's personality of not actually having one whilst being a petty, self-destructive bitch. What ever negative aspects about Idubbbz that were present just got pushed to the forefront when he got with Anisa. I don't think he would have made such an ill-fated attempt of a hatchet job against same if Anisa wasn't in the picture. He would've just seethed about in private as to not embarrass himself on the Internet.
