This is a huge reminder why merit based hiring is necessary for a functional society. There's men out there that are as bat shit as this lady, but they tend to be professional failures. In a vacuum, this woman would be a similar type of failure, but the need for equitable representation has opened the door for dictatorial mongoloids to take positions of power. Equity is a self-destructive behavior but nobody really notices until bridges start collapsing and planes fall out of the sky.

The movie had also made a point that destroying the Grove was Triton being in the wrong to the point that he regretted it almost instantly. Depicting parents as flawed individuals who still care for their children should be downright normal, and Disney almost always made a point to depict overbearing fathers as still standing up for their family when danger emerged.
That's being polite about it. Kidnapping a newborn and raising her to be terrified of the outside world and reliant entirely on Gothel as her (mostly absent) "Mother", simply for the sake of using said child as a fount of eternal youth, is an almost disturbing combination of witchy behavior and actual abusive parenting, and I think it hit a nerve with the confessor. There is nothing redeemable about that in comparison to overbearing parents, and that is a hard pill to swallow for someone with daddy issues.
On that note, Elinor in Brave was an overbearing mother with a lot of the same flaws as her male counterparts, and she is also depicted as a well-meaning and loving parent whose actions are out of love for her family than personal satisfaction. She ends the movie having coming to accept Merida's desire to live her own life, and continues to be happy with her family.
Good thing I avoid using Niggerbabble to start with, I don't have to worry about offending some of those vibrant urban youths.
