Quite frankly the information this site finds is almost always information that was all out there to begin with, and at that point I'd argue it's better we find and catalogue it since we don't directly fuck with people than it would be if someone on a site like Twitter or Reddit found it and actually used that information.

So many troons, especially the FTMs, are either schizos or in a manic bipolar episode. I've seen several detrans regrets where they were upset that it was all too easy to get prescribed HRT and surgery and then they only get diagnosed with the psychotic disorder after they did permanent damage.

But the WPATH bumobclaat doesn't really have any rules like "if the person has a psychotic disorder they need to be on medication for a while before they can discuss surgery". They really need to require a letter from a psychiatrist and not just therapists/counselors/social workers. But that'd cut out many of their customers patients.
