Just baffles me, man. Ralph gets his ass beat, everyone thinks it's hilarious. Wings gets a NYT article, everyone is laughing. But here just mentioning any miniscule trolling and people will cry. I'm here to be entertained and it seems like some want to make sure that doesn't happen.

The way I look at it is "THUUUUUUS."

Nigel and other people with his same mindset, disavow SuperCrzy and JLT levels of trolling involvement.

No one has too follow what random internet comments say, but again it's a good reminder to take a breather and deTAHHHHXIFY from the vortex.

One of the big issues is that Phil will just say nothing or go meh to most shit. Like people paid Jim Cornette, Kevin Nash and a bunch of other celebrities Phil would know to shit on him and basically all we got out of that was Phil going meh spend your money I don't care. The only way to get actual reactions out of Phil is big real life shit. Things like Swatting(do not do this, I am not advocating this, it would be fucking stupid. It's just the main example) and getting taken off the Twitch partner program live(I do advocate reporting him rightfully to YouTube) and big shit like this just doesn't come everyday or without big effort. Nobody is gonna beat up Phil, nobody is even gonna see Phil outside lol. I don't understand people being protective and saying don't go after Phil, but I do understand why people don't put in the effort.

Yeah, as someone who got bored and fucked with his shitty forum for a week solid, you have to put forth round the clock intense effort to get even a passing bit of acknowledgment from DSP for the effort because you're not going after a man with dignity or something to lose anymore. Even the guy who cracked open his banking info got like, what, a shrug from DSP and complaining that people were doing fraud and it was right back to business as usual. On the topic of detractors. Meerkat_Mob makes solid stuff. I don't know much about him outside of his videos on Phil but his stuff is always good. Very in depth, goes beyond just clipping and the standard insults. One of the more quality khantent makers imo. Ticks alot of the boxes for me at least. He takes the piss outta Phil like no one else, some of his banter better than tevins, at least on par. His shits always in depth and backed up with plenty of references/context but still plenty of detractors memes. A good mix. Obviously just my two cents but I really enjoy his stuff. Goes a little philosphical,, definitely loves talking finances, dosent usually get to too angry and Phil or the wheelchairs but sometimes he do and that definitely my one gripe. He got a lil bit of emotion tied 2 it u can feel.

There are moments where he IS funny. The goat laughs, the inability to problem solve, and when the is just failing.
The manipulation, begging and berating his viewers just reminds me of an old time health tonic salesman. At least then I get a product.
Here? I watch him partially for education on his psychology and to hang out with cool people, like Shinko with pre-streams and with re-streamers. I tried watching Wings but he is so DEPRESSING.

I’m firmly in the camp of “do whatever but don’t plan it in public or turn up expecting post hoc asspats”. It’s possible to enjoy a thing you did even if no one knows it was you and in the case of trolling (this kind anyway) it’s preferable.

I wouldn't really classify him being exposed to and mocked by those outside the autism vortex a troll so much, and that's probably why it gets to DSP so bad is a bunch of people he sees as having been neutral and amenable to his robust quality kahntent are now lost to him because the trolls got to them first.

we have so many instances like this, we have people flat out telling him all the WWE Champions proof and he basically said I know you are saying my phone needed to confirm the account but I say no so haha. That is literally all you get outta Phil. it's so beyond being worth it. He won't even mention trolls like Wings does, you just get the response of "blank said something stupid I am not reading it, you are banned". Phil is making himself not worth it to even laugh at anymore. The worst part being how behind he is. He does stuff like the John and Howard react and is like PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR THIS. To give my tard take on the ongoing topic

1) Phil’s boring as shit for the most part and his life is meaningless besides the times where he goes to a new low on the begging or he gets humbled in a game

2) Gatekeeping Phil is gay. Giving Phil any sort of income whether it be a YouTube super chat, tips, etc. is stupid and you’re as much as a Phil supporter as SBM of Rahb or any other known dent in his chat.

3) I’m personally not invested enough to actively go and mess with Phil beyond occasionally watching and giving my take on this forum. I don’t judge any exceptional individuals who do some Sistine chapel troll and I’ll definitely laugh if it’s good. But if it involves giving Phil money, refer back to 3.

4) I don’t tune into restreams that much that give play by play takes. PoP is the only one I really tune into regarding a personality restreaming Phil because I like his charity ideas and his personality isn’t insufferable.

5) if anyone thinks they can use Phil as some sort of “launchpad” to kickstart their own career online, stop. That sounds like some Fred Fuchs shit.

6) Always take a break from the goutsphere. It does a lot of good to step away sometimes and focus on other shit.

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread or elsewhere on these forums but much to my surprise, another lolcow with whom Phil had a very recent crossover was featured on the front page of the digital version of the NYTimes.

The article touched upon the recent trolling Wings suffered where people shared his picture and claimed that he was one of the victims of the Uvalde mass shooting.

Basically, this article is just a dogwhistle about how online trolling is out of control and essentially calls for stronger censorship on the internet (who would have thought coming from the NYTimes, amirite?).

The reason I bring this up is compared to the trolling that Wings gets, Phil is literally being coddled by detractors. Since the bank leaks, nothing substantial in terms of fucking with Phil has happened. The Anonymouse bamboozle was utter fuckery, just shit content from a dude who posts pics of himself soiled in dirty diapers on Twatter. The YT cadre or various retards (besides An, Piece and Proper) are not “detractors” (God, I really fucking hate this term, it lets Phil control the narrative by dismissing any criticism thrown his way by ridiculing it or defining it as negative from the onset but this is a topic for another post); they’re guys who’d rather spend their time setting up a restreaming environment to make fun of Phil or get angry at him. Phil, effectively, has no real trolls to fuck with him and has a burgeoning YT restreaming industry that is reliant on Phil putting out content to survive. At the very least, if you’re gonna restream phil you have to do what An1337 and Piece of Peace have done: do not monetize your fucking content.

I agree. I also want to add that Meerkat doesn't have autistic garbage all over the screen like Tevin does nor doe he have sounds on sounds on sounds playing. Keeps his soundboard use to only when it's necessary and appropriate. I've never heard him get salty (looking at you Shinko and SuprCringy). He doesn't act like he's in a battle with Phil or go on and on about the donations (ala (akbar) suprcrngy). Always brings good insight to the table and is never a drag cuz he adjusts (ahn the fly) if Phil is being too boring to mock. I recommend him, big ups. His streams work as a podcast to just listen to while working or studying and shit.

I keep up with Chantal/Haydur nation, which is what I recommend. Haydur nation being the SoK of the death fats with Callie/Lyfeofafreespirit being the Fredfuchs.

The only problem is it was much easier to label Tevin, the SOK, or whatever other detractor of your choice as fucked up people and everyone watching them were also fucked up when their max viewership was sub 2k. When he wakes up to find himself featured on one of the most popular websites in the world and he's being derided by the vast majority of users he's stunned. To be hated by a shadow cabal of detractors hiding in the dark corners of the internet is one thing. To be front page news, comparatively, he enters panic mode and even bothers typing out posts he thought would actually make himself look good and just gets shit on some more.
