Nobody actually does want to, I think that's been proven a thousand times over at this point.
I think it’s less that no one wants to and more that very few people if any want to do it to hurt Phil as opposed to doing it because they’re banking on a funny reaction.

Posting Phil to a subreddit doesn’t hurt him. I mean it might hurt a person with a sense of shame or self-awareness but Phil doesn’t have those (which is why he’s a cow). It’s amazing how so much trolling amounts to taking something some dumb asshole put on some dark corner of the internet and just shining a light on it. All PoP did (and Piece please correct me if you view it otherwise) was just clip part of Phil’s stream, link it in a Reddit post and say “hey look at this”, and the ROI was massive. As has been already mentioned today Phil is still crying about it weeks later, and that’s I think why most people want to troll Phil. It’s the same reason most people troll anyone IMO, because their anticipated reaction will be funny. I don’t think very many people are trying to get Phil to suckstart a shotgun on stream. He’s boring 99.9% of the time so people have to make their own fun and I absolutely support that.

People should just send him credits for the different platforms or directly purchase the games for him; he even mocks any worries his fans may have about the money that is supposedly paying bills, so don't tip, just send credits.

It's almost like he's not really running a 'business'.
This makes me wish the NYT photogtapher also took a high quality picture of DSP. Imagine that horror show. So pale that he's grey, liver spots and weird marks all over his face, his complete lack of scalp hair obvious through the wisps that are combed back, a goatee that is 3/5 shaved off by accident, gross little rotten brown chicklet teeth, and a prominent droop.
They might as well have as today's begcast will be making that article about himself.

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread or elsewhere on these forums but much to my surprise, another lolcow with whom Phil had a very recent crossover was featured on the front page of the digital version of the NYTimes.

The article touched upon the recent trolling Wings suffered where people shared his picture and claimed that he was one of the victims of the Uvalde mass shooting.

Basically, this article is just a dogwhistle about how online trolling is out of control and essentially calls for stronger censorship on the internet (who would have thought coming from the NYTimes, amirite?).

The reason I bring this up is compared to the trolling that Wings gets, Phil is literally being coddled by detractors. Since the bank leaks, nothing substantial in terms of fucking with Phil has happened. The Anonymouse bamboozle was utter fuckery, just shit content from a dude who posts pics of himself soiled in dirty diapers on Twatter. The YT cadre or various retards (besides An, Piece and Proper) are not “detractors” (God, I really fucking hate this term, it lets Phil control the narrative by dismissing any criticism thrown his way by ridiculing it or defining it as negative from the onset but this is a topic for another post); they’re guys who’d rather spend their time setting up a restreaming environment to make fun of Phil or get angry at him. Phil, effectively, has no real trolls to fuck with him and has a burgeoning YT restreaming industry that is reliant on Phil putting out content to survive. At the very least, if you’re gonna restream phil you have to do what An1337 and Piece of Peace have done: do not monetize your fucking content.
Pretty half assed article if they didn't mention Sam Hyde getting brought up every time.
Phail does not get trolled regardless of his protestations otherwise. It's just another crutch for being a phailure.
My two cents regarding trolling Phail is that it's weird and unpredictable which things set him off and which don't. The bank leaks are huge but it's crazy how little he seethed about them, especially when you remember things like him losing his mind for months because his $7 chicken sandwich had sloppily applied sauce on it.
Indeed. Why didn't he wage a 'war' against the bank and put them out of business like he did Burger King and Twitch? :story:

We love you Dave come back so the family doesn't fight anymore!

Seriously though Dave has learned so many maladaptive behaviors and social cues it has only deepened his Autism.
Yes, I am now currently in that camp.
In the 1990's when he would have been in school we knew so little.
He is a fascinating case for a longitudinal study. That does NOT excuse his behavior.

Anyway we shall see what crazy WEIRD adventures Dave got up to on his day off.
(I bet the gotcha pulls are so comforting though, and they put everything in perspective)

Meh, it's hard for me to get angry over that aspect of Phil's life. Whether or not Phil receives enough gambling money to feed his addiction matters to me only in the sense that we won't get to see a Code Black if he reaches a certain threshhold. I'm not actually upset that he gets to drink himself into a coma every night. His problems run way deeper than any hedonism could ever hope to alleviate. His prestream ranting is becoming more and more unhinged by the month and it's pretty clear his psyche is unraveling.
I think its pretty apt personally. Like sure you can take comfort in knowing his ruination is soon. But as you tighten your belt, and realize that your own ruination might be soon, and unlike Phil, through no real fault of your own. Thats infuriating.

Theres a bit in Retsupurae. I think its the one on the Nostalgia Critic, where Slowbeef salts out when he learns that Doug makes 6 digits. And you just think that sometimes you invested poorly, even when its investing in your own growth and character. Seeing someone take the easy path, and do better, thats a normal level of jealousy

I think of it as aggressive affection.

I hope when Philbert begins his stream today I hope a convoy of about 30 trucks run through his house directly where he's streaming.
Aggressive affection sounds like when you and yours friends get really drunk and there's one who suddenly tries to push the boundary of what's gay or not.

So we're not supposed to point, laugh and speculate about a lolcow on a gossip people watching forum dedicated to lolcows?

Whats stopping people who want to troll him more from actually doing it? It's not going to do anything as it should be pretty obvious by now he'll brush it off, deny it then turn it into pity begging.

Why do they need validation and asspats from the farms or detractor channels for trolling him? Which, ironically, the looking for validation from randos online is VERY Phil-like. Why try to plan gay-ops on a forum he himself reads? Hi Phil!

You'll actually get a better reaction buying the capcom fighting collection on the same platform and beating his ass than you will if you trolled him, see Gojitenks, Crimson Sky or anytime he gets his ass beat. It's kinda sad actually, it's almost like that 4th place evo win and his FYE trophy are all he has.

Besides if they REALLY wanted to stick it to DSP, it's not like there's a paste bin posted the other day of all the homophobic shit he's said while youtube and brands that advertise on his videos are going 88mph with rainbows. It's more work than he's worth but, there you go...

EDIT - oh and btw. I take it back. QuantiumTV isn't Black DSP, no no after recent events, DSP is the white QuantiumTV, or the QuantiumTV you get on whish.

must sting huh phil, years of crying about slander and people illegally stealing your content and youtube doesn't care, a few months of abusing the DMCA system on youtube because people made fun of QTV arrogance and shit take on Elden Ring and youtube sides with him.

DSP and detractors should not be a Batman -Joker relationship. One does not need the other.

Too many detractors protecting Phil. Let Phil burn. Let him crash and burn. People going “let’s wait for the retard to do something” but look what happened after I did something so simple as reporting his Streamlabs. We are feeling the effect even now with his “how do I use shit?”

Don’t plan anything here. Don’t go crazy. Just, if you are going to do anything plan on getting pointed at, laughed at, called a regard.

I’m on board for laughing at results. After Phil got my friends doxxed I don’t blame anyone but Phil.

Like look at the results that one troll is getting just by his username being “DSP doxxes you and steals money” every stream Phil now goes “hey indoctrinated fans and regards, ignore the troll in the chat please bby thanks”

Regarded cause he superchats too, but results are funny seeing Phil squirm by the fact it takes one whale to look And go “oh? Ok I won’t tip too”

You know my feelings about recent detractors that have popped up, just don’t lie about Phil. Lies can be twisted and make Phil’s ego go up.

This always happens when there's a lull in Dave's entertainment value.

When we watch Dave we're just waiting for the next crises, something that actually is out of his control since he's always on the edge of financial ruin from the bank leaks. Or the really interesting potential content like maybe he gets banned off of youtube or someone starts gangstalking him on his days off.

Whoever does the latter would be a sperg but it would cause Dave to become even more of a recluse fearing that 'tractors are around every corner.

Really he gets off easy with IRL trolling compared to other lolcows, don't see anyone flying to Seattle to beat him up like Ethan Ralph.Though that's cause he barely ever leaves his house and you'd have to follow him from his house to see where he actually was on his day off.

DSP couldn't win the Rumble, again, on legend, in a "sport" he is gambling addicted to knowing about everything that ever happened in it, because he couldn't resist trying to cheese a win with lazy elimination tactics.

Zero chance he can cope with indoor arena version of world football, online or off.

He couldn't do any gem damage. Nothing he could do.

I mean I agree, but you almost expect it with the bank leaks. From his cowardly seat that is a really scary thing to happen, one because he's so afraid of other humans let alone detractors that he requires a gated community. Two because it revealed something he probably hides from himself. The mind protects you from trauma and pain so many gamblers live and breathe on not knowing how much money they're really burning and the effect on it. So not only is he suddenly face to face with it in a very unpleasant way but it's extremely embarrassing because he's begging then overdrawing himself right away repeatedly. Lastly add that it was all so very public. He has to worry that it'll be widespread common knowledge, and that his donators will believe it.

His mind will prevent him from dwelling on it and he'll seek coping strategies to avoid thinking about it.

If there's one thing the unfortunate escort saga did teach it's, it's that there can be weird awful shit going on behind the scenes and if it's real as fuck Phil can be silent on it. But chicken sandwiches he may never let go of.

However, I do believe Howard somewhat overreacted a bit because the tribute painted T in a very positive light and people actually really liked it.
I think he reacted to the fact that Phil put ads on the video, not so much the video itself. And I think there was some animosity between the two of them, due to Phil being a part of their FGC group.

As John Rambo described it, being a part of an FGC crew is like being part of a brotherhood. You're all teamed up with the shared interest of playing fighting games. You don't give a shit about being big or being rich. You're just a part of this group that all love the shit out of this game, go to tournaments sometimes, and have get togethers at your home and watch EVO or have mini-tournaments, or whatever. So when Phil put up the video with ads, I imagine Howard saw that as Phil breaking a cardinal rule within the group for extra money.

And this is from personal experience, but it's also kind of an unspoken rule that what happens within your crew stays with your crew. Now, Tee was actually a veteran in the FGC; dude's been around while Street fighter Alpha was getting big, iirc. If he'd have shared with after maybe talking with his friends first or shared it on SRK Forums where pros and players alike would see the video, Phil might not have gotten so much shit. But to Howard, I'm sure, Phil shared info about a prominent member of a community that Phil's fanbase barely knows on a channel called Hate Live, mentioned weird shit about a deceased friend that didn't need to be said (no one needed to know Tee's living conditions, Phil), then didn't tell his friends before and after the video went up. So while Phil posted the video on YouTube without malicious intent, it probably looked that way to Howard, who might have been so pissed, he didn't watch the vid.

What's somewhat sad is that any hostility brought up by Phil posting that video would have been swept under the rug if Phil had just owned up and said what he did was wrong. But (and Phil's ego aside) that is now impossible due to the existence of that dumbass reaction to John and Howard's video, which amounts to "Fuck you, Howard, I dindu nuffin wrong!" What a waste of such a long friendship, dude.

I don't know. I guess what I'm trying to say is that, yeah, Howard overreacted, but I think he was more mad at Phil putting ads on the video than the video itself. And to be honest, I'd be just as mad too.
