It's a bit like his parents. They exist to him in the typical narcissist "I'm their son daughter" way. That is to say - he'll merrily tell us about how his Mum was the third person he came out to and what her reaction was. He'll talk about how his parents watched the trailer for his new TV show and are super proud of him. He'll mention how his parents got him a birthday present of expensive meats (from the forbidden bday livestream).

He's not telling us how his Dad's getting on a bit and he's been going up to help him out with some stuff, or how he's taken his Mum out for a surprise birthday party, or his parent's award winning work or whatever. Some of this might be PR/image management but for the most part the way he talks about his parents describes a relationship very much of "I'm their child", with no sense of them being people - just Mum and Dad, very much like a teenager or particularly immature first year student might talk. We never really hear him mention his brothers, because his brothers don't provide a backdrop to the trans grift or demonstrate how he's a true and honest woman. I don't think it's caginess powerlevelling about his family, he just doesn't relate to people outside of how they provide him with narcissistic supply.

So he sees his niece on family occasions like going up for Christmas, where he gets to put his feet up and stuff his fat ham face with turkey and he ends up interacting with her because she's there. We know about his niece purely in terms how she validates her "aunt". Ollie deciding to actually put effort in to spend time with a child is incongruent - maybe when she's old enough to drink and he can use her to go "Just sipping a cocktail with 18 year old niece on the King's Road, she's thrilled her glam auntie treated her to brunch at The Ivy. The waitress thought we were sisters tee hee hee~ Off to get girlie manicuries now", but he's not the flavour of narcissist to try and play up his amazing maternal instinct etc.
