Here is one people may or may not have seen. Nathan Jenkins aka Chloe Jenkins. Missing most of their teeth.

There’s dances and parties to go to and you can have sex with attractive people and not worry about an accidental baby and you can fall in love and get married just like the straights do. Being a tranny is not fun. You’re constantly chasing the dragon of more medical procedures, which can lead to significant pain. You are anxious and uncomfortable. You’re much more likely to be rejected sexually and people who will fuck you are more likely to be weirdos. I absolutely see why troons are mad about happy gay people.

Trans are obsessed on twitter with saying trans women (of colour) won gay/lesbians their rights. They have rewritten history to sound like gays did nothing for their rights. They also forget Stonewall had nothing to do with lesbians and gays around the rest of the world who were fighting for their rights in their own ways. The page is doing that annoying thing where it won't let me reply to/quote specific posts, but I love @Prolego 's on the previous page about troon journos leaving the guardian in protest at their minimal coverage of the Alison Bailey tribunal. Actually, I rather love this propensity of troons in general to flounce at the first sign of disobedience from the cult, as Owen Jones is currently discovering to his chagrin. It's such an indicator of how wildly they overestimate their actual social importance by mistaking people's acquiescence to them so they don't get screeched at for actual loyalty/allegiance. In all honesty I think it will be quite a contributing factor to their decline - they honestly believe that they're so important and valued that readers and colleagues alike will be devastated by their departure enough to put an embargo on so much as mentioning news topics or people that they don't like. I know it's just another symptom of their relentless solipsism and social insulation, but it's still hilarious to watch and I'm happy to encourage their hubris.

It reminds me - probably appropriately, since the troons in this particular scenario are TiFs - of high school. Occasionally one of the more annoying or immature girls in my year/friend group would finally get told to STFU about something and then pitch a hissy fit about "not talking to us again, like,  ever" by way of punishment. It was almost always the kind of kid for whom their refusing to talk to you was just a sweet (and usually tragically brief) respite from having to listen to them sperg constantly. I think because it pained them so much to deprive us all of their stream of consciousness, they assumed it was also a negative for us.

It's fucking disgusting. And unlike a normal childless man, troons are dependent on their health insurance, so they're much less likely to tell their employers to suck it or rock the boat. If a normal childless man decides he's had enough of his employer, he can survive for much longer than a troon, and has more options. Troons in tech generally don't have the option to move back in with their folks, nor can they take a blue collar job in a red state with a lower cost-of-living. Can't do any of the fallback jobs like cop/teacher/mailman/trade apprentice/construction worker. If a hon in the tech industry wants to leave, their options are Amazon Fulfillment, gig economy, or welfare. Sometimes they're passable enough that TS porn/sex work is also available but one like Alice doesn't have good prospects in that line of work. So he takes the job and grinds, lest he become one of the troons who *doesn't* have a tech job.

Hard agree. It's a certain kind of religiosity that can lead to the repression that goes full circle and counterintuitively spawns degeneracy. This was especially prevalent during the Victorian era (or in the US the Second Great Awakening), and can be seen today in the Catholic Church and various megachurches, where there are perennial scandals involving pedophilia and closet gay activity.

If you teach that normal sexuality and fertility are dirty and should be repressed, some people start getting weird ideas. And instead of falling in line, weird people can get even weirder.

Yes. Fred Sargeant, who is still alive today and has interviews up on YouTube, was a direct eye witness. He was coming back from dinner with his then boyfriend when they saw a bunch of people (probably mostly gay men) outside the Stonewall Inn watching the police arresting people. Stormé DeLarverie, as he tells it, said to the crowd "why don't you guys do something" while she was getting dragged away by a policeman, and so the shouting began and then the pushing and throwing shit. The police had to retreat into the bar. The riot went on all night. So it was a bunch of random people who started protesting, but it was this woman who instigated them. I have been an ardent fedora tipper since I was like 10 and I don’t disagree in principle, but when a small town that’s 95%+ christian wants to put up a cute little nativity scene in front of the town hall and a bunch of edgy coastal atheists show up and demand a giant flaming statue of Beezlebub be put up next to it, it just comes across as being a dick to be a dick. Yes it’s faithful (lol) to the letter of the law, but the two explicitly atheist and one Buddhist families in the town didn’t actually give a shit, and now they’ve got a gross eyesore there too. From what I remember all the original claims about Marsha, even Marsha’s, were that he showed up well after it kicked off. Look at how he dressed and presented himself, it’s a pretty clear drag thing, not an attempt to genuinely be a woman.
