It's not doomerism. And part of the cabal in charge of the DNC WANT Kamala as President, which is why they need the two years one day thing to max out her Presidency to ten years. She's way more controllable than Elizabeth Warren and has skeletons that can be used to control her.Would you idiots stop talking about Kamala’s 10 years. As soon as I see that garbage I know the rest of your takes are shit. Everyone hates that stupid bitch, she will never get elected. Stop dooming
I mean... it does. Just not in the direction the Dems would like. It is increasingly seen as a distraction at best and active political fuckery at worst by the usually disinterested majority. So harping on about it is netting -negative- returns.View attachment 3370192
@Gehenna, any sane person knows they don't give a crap about this über-politicized event, now turned into Hollywood blockbuster in the guise of a political hearing. Does that translate into the polling on your end?
The problem is if you take Trump's name off the ballot and put DeSantis on it, you run the risk of losing the 3+ point bump Trump gives down ballot candidates just because he is on the ballot. I would rather DeSantis keep on being governor of Florida and keep Florida growing more and more red.I love Orange Man for what he is, a shitposter and surprisingly good at international realpolitik - but I won't lie, if the leftoids do manage to somehow get him off the ticket in 2024, I won't exactly mourn the reinvigorated right turning to a much more competent and youthful man like DeSantis to pound the Dems assholes raw.
I don't think any amount of J6 theater will save them in the midterms. The very best they seem to have to hope for is that it's enough to get trump off the ticket for 2024, which while that would suck, I don't think they understand that Trump is too old to really pit the future on anymore and we have better options now specifically thanks to Trump resetting the political field.
Its funny as my normie boomer family member who still watches MSM surprised me saying "Oh so Bidens approval numbers must be down" seeing they are having ANOTHER hearing about Jan 6. Its kind of a barometer to me that most people (not counting the democratic faithful) aren't buying this shit and see it as a massive waste of time and money.I mean... it does. Agreed - I've said before that it's better for DeSantis to get a few terms under his belt than leap for the big seat this early. It's a consistent problem with the GOP that they try to push their state-level young up and coming "superstars" into the forefront of national elections just when they're getting noticed, rather than letting them build up their political capital and experience before going for national office. The problem is if you take Trump's name off the ballot and put DeSantis on it, you run the risk of losing the 3+ point bump Trump gives down ballot candidates just because he is on the ballot. I can see the logic in that but sometimes the call of the many does outweigh the call of the few.The problem is if you take Trump's name off the ballot and put DeSantis on it, you run the risk of losing the 3+ point bump Trump gives down ballot candidates just because he is on the ballot. DeSantis does have time to raise his national profile among conservatives in the USA. Right now Trump is the kingmaker but if DeSantis keeps making decisive moves in his state and ends up in the headlines more and more as a result, I think he could have a chance. The problem is if you take Trump's name off the ballot and put DeSantis on it, you run the risk of losing the 3+ point bump Trump gives down ballot candidates just because he is on the ballot. Meh. Seeing it as a positive in hindsight is no the same as inciting it. I never thought his original tweets were anything close to incitement, and the recent Kavanaugh shit has be thinking they were even less nefarious. It's Trump. He basically incriminated himself on social media.
Frankly, the ones that cared the most about the J6 shit appears to be non-Americans. (Aussies and smug Europoors for most part). Aka people who don't fucking matter in American affairs. When a third of the country is living paycheck to paycheck, and no signs of relief on the horizon, it's really hard to make people care about a bunch of boomers walking around the capital. None of the libs I know IRL even care anymore, just the terminally online ones.
Good thing there's not a criminal trial going on, just some bullshit dog-and-pony legislative hearing. It's Trump. He basically incriminated himself on social media.
You see the “crazy” predictions from the most wild-eyed Bircher from the 1950s and not only were they right, they had no idea how bad things would become. I don’t think anyone from McCarthy’s time knew how bad things would get.
yeah DeathSantis is a lock if he runs as Hijo Del Trump in 2028 but if he dips on the state for 2024 he's fuckedFlorida's an incredibly important state. And if you want DeSantis running for president, you'd better have a good fucking governor lined up beforehand.

Tailgunner Joe would be in his underwear cutting throats with a broken liquor bottle by now."OK, there's going to be this drag queen, Nicole Jizzington, and she's going to perform for children at schools..."
Could you imagine traveling back to the 1950's and trying to warn them of what's going to happen in 70 years? You'd be tossed in the looney bin and they'd throw away the key."OK, there's going to be this drag queen, Nicole Jizzington, and she's going to perform for children at schools..."
I only disagree on one point; the country has to hurt more before he should answer that call. As of now, taking control just means that the Dems play the blame game again. Right now, it's just baby formula that's scarce, but that doesn't affect everyone. Now, a second Dust Bowl caused by the Green New Deal? Now everyone suffers and knows just how dangerous bad governance is.I can see the logic in that but sometimes the call of the many does outweigh the call of the few.
Bear in mind the scenario I'm discussing is if the Dems kangaroo court forces him off the ticket. That action alone would keep that bump for his down ballot picks because people would vote for them out of sheer spite of the Dems fuckery.
I think DeSantis will sit out 2024 for the reason you gave given the choice. But if it comes down to giving the Dems another 4 years to continue destroying this country or telling Florida to find another DeSantis, sorry Florida but the Republic calls.
I'd be too busy oogling the women on the silver screen. That is, if they'd let me in the damn theatre.Could you imagine traveling back to the 1950's and trying to warn them of what's going to happen in 70 years? You'd be tossed in the looney bin and they'd throw away the key.world indeed.
