Yes most likely. Peetz too. she may just be brushing them off as mosquito bites or some shit. If she truly does have bedbugs, she's in for a world of hurt. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE that I have shared her with has recoiled in horror and actually looked at me and said something to the effect of, "What the hell is that? Why would you even watch that gross shit? Don't show me that."
I don't know if it would even phase her honestly. I've never seen such delusion. Chantal believes that we all fart like braphogs while feeding at the trough, leave cat shit on the carpet on the regular, and wear clothing plastered to our bodies by our fluids and feces. We all just lie about it! Chantal bravely bares what we all hide!
In her audience, I see a bunch of lumpen, fat, mentally-deficient middle aged women, who would prefer she not dress like that. But Chantal is incapable of doing what anyone wants, whether it is VIBs, feeders, or her family. She wouldn't take orders from a feeder, and she doesn't need to. She thinks up this stuff on her own, and it fits with her character perfectly. If it grosses people out, she likes it. Or, if it plays into her delusion that she is a skinny sex kitten, she likes it.
As gross as she is, Chantal wants to be loved for herself and not as a fetish. She wants to be considered desirable in spite of being disgusting, not because of it, so it may take her a very long time to transition into feeder or gas porn, if she ever does.
She has the delusion that her VIBs are actual friends. She does not understand or accept the transactional nature of her job, or of being an "entertainer" in general. She's said over and over that she just needs them to "talk to" and get love/support from.
As a result, she thinks her audience (even the gentler trolls and lukewarm VIBs, as well as a good portion of non-VIB viewers) is truly invested in her as a person. Some of her audience are genuinely fucked up, lonely, and mentally ill, but even those people have some limits. She blocks and unblocks people until they leave. It's rare (to the point that I can't think of an instance) that an established VIB is blocked permanently (one-off trolls are different). The "holy trinity" is the exception in that they apparently have no rock-bottom and encourage literally any behavior from her.
She has the misconception that support (e.g. from her family or "friends") must be 100% unconditional with never a critical word, which means that the "holy trinity" are her only "true" friends (and I'm not convinced they're not trolls trying to encourage her to slowly kill herself). Everyone else can and will be blocked at moment's notice if she feels even slightly uncomfortable or judged by them.
She feels entitled to this support, regardless of what she does to earn it (nothing). She's pushed the envelope over the years, making less and less effort, until she is what we see now. She can't even be bothered to close her mouth when she chews. She can; she used to.
Partially due to those dynamics and partially due to her inability/unwillingness to learn or know anything other than how to use UberEats, she doesn't understand what an audience is, let alone how to cultivate different audiences on different platforms. This goes beyond not being social-media or marketing savvy and comes back to her need for attention and bonding with people who are even slightly nice to her.
And she does bond in a very peculiar manner. She's caught between refusing to admit that her demands are unreasonable, and angrily accepting insufficient praise because she's not getting anything better from anyone in her life, let alone the adoration she thinks she deserves.
Nader was slightly nice to her once and shows/showed affection (through food) and sexual interest (through degradation), and she's ready to marry him. This is despite her claiming she'd rather make out and isn't into degradation, going to great lengths to rationalize kissing Nader's feet, etc. It's close enough to what she wants (assuming she truly knows what she wants -- this fluctuates wildly) that she'll take it. She has tantrums and blocks people, but she unblocks them not just because she needs the money, but because she recognizes their names and begrudgingly "forgives" them for not being "perfect" friends. Then she yells that they're replaceable, because they are. They don't matter as people, just as sources of validation. Grams wasn't even a person, just a pudding-cup dispenser who was pushed aside when a juicer source of validation came along. And as much as people aren't people to her, she does get hooked on what they provide, namely attention and validation. Just like she got hooked on the green peen despite all the unpleasantness (and lack of actual sexual satisfaction). Nader is her only real-life source of validation. She's devalued every other relationship in her life until they're next to meaningless.
As a result of this set-up, if she had the man of her dreams tomorrow she would bond rapidly, then just as rapidly become bored and cheat as soon as that rush was over. She's admitted to doing this (though some of her admissions were more convincing than others, I 100% believe she's a complete skank who will lie down for anyone who shows a moment's genuine interest. She's convinced herself random men want her, but she knows it's not true deep down or else she'd be making an even bigger fool of herself pursuing men than she does. She needs that attention like a drug).
She believes she's awesome enough that people should be happy to pay for nontent as long as she's sitting there in front of the camera (or running off-screen to shit). Something about her person is so engaging that people just want to be around her even when she's passed out or doing household chores. Or at the very most, making up stories she's dumb enough to think are convincing and not just gross and cringey. She's very, very special for some reason. Perhaps because she farts without restraint (anyone who says they don't find farts funny are just uptight, right? And uptight people deserved to be grossed out because they're so judgmental and mean. And no one is allowed to be criticial mean to Chins. She's too special. She deserves people who will tell her she's special and does no wrong. Because she's special). It's definitely not because huge numbers of people are laughing at/judging her, with some of them openly cheering on her self-destruction. And if they are, then they're the bad people. She's not only incapable of doing wrong, she's incapable of doing anything worth being judgmental about.
Thus, she believes that the same group of people will pay multiple memberships on multiple platforms for essentially the same content, or that if she does expand her content, her existing livestream audience (of fat white older women) will discover an interest in streaming games or OF shoots, and be happy just to have more (one-sided, parasocial) contact with her, no matter the cost.
She thinks she can parlay this into an empire and leave a positive legacy. Again, without doing any actual content, developing any new audiences, etc. She's just that cool.
And to top it off, her motivated reasoning/low IQ prevents her from consciously understanding any of this or accepting that anything she does is worse than what anyone else does, let alone significantly worse.
These are all delusions, neuroses, and instances of just plain stupidity that she'd have to work through before the "Am I desirable as a person, or is this just a fetish?" question could be resolved in her head. Her belief that she's genuinely physically attractive and desired by the drive-thru guy is actually the least of her delusions. It's just the funniest.
And honestly, if she did actual feeder content -- and understood what it was without rationalizing or returning to her comforting delusions -- I would see it as improvement. Accepting you're at rock-bottom is progress, and at least she'd have to be aware of the underlying transactional nature (i.e. her feeders are not her friends, boyfriends, or (gag) lovers, but clients who fundamentally don't value or respect her as a person). Seeing herself as an unloved, unwanted object that collects coins for base satisfaction would be closer to her actual existence than her sex-kitten-chubby-bubbly-best-girl delusions are. That would be something a therapist could work with, at least. I mean, theoretically she could turn her life around (except for the physical damage she's done) and develop actual self-worth in place of narcissistic bluster, if nothing else. She's been at rock-bottom psychologically for most of her life; she's just too proud and defiant to admit it. But she could.
Don't rainbow me; I know it'll never happen. She's never gonna get better, but I hope she at least gets more interesting. And her being crazy makes that more likely to happen, so it works out. Kind of the essence of lolcowdom right there.
