Let's just get this out of the way.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) Won reelection by +9.6% in 2020
Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) Won reelection by +1.8% in 2020
Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) Won reelection by +2.8% in 2016, isn't running in 2022
Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) Won reelection by +5.7% in 2016, voted to impeach Trump, isn't running in 2022
Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) Won reelection by +40.1% in 2020, voted to impeach Trump
Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) Won reelection by +8.6% in 2020, voted to impeach Trump
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) Won reelection by +10.2% in 2020
Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) Won reelection by +20.8% in 2016, isn't running in 2022
Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) You already know. Voted to impeach Trump
Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) Won reelection by +1.5% in 2016, voted to impeach Trump, isn't running in 2022

Btw McConnell says he supports the negotiations for this
God I Hate Cornyn. He needs to retire (he doesn't agree with term limits and hates it when his constitutes suggest supporting legislation about it). I'm convinced that Cornyn is only still in is because the Democrat choice is always far, far worse.
Kinda where I'm at. Make a meaningless law that libs can shut up about until the next school shooting and then say "we did pass a law."
This is how we ended up with 270+ federal laws about guns, majority of which don't do jack shit.

If they really wanted to save themselves, they would make a concerted effort to do things like lowering gas prices or securing the border.
It would be a noble and righteous thing for them to finish Trump's work, considering they stole his second term. But alas, that would undermine the purpose of their kleptocracy.

Also, lmao at noble and righteous. I felt sexual assaulted from those senator portraits in that roast thread alone.

What the fuck can I do to try to protect my assets from inflation? Right now I just have money sitting in the bank and I know I am getting absolutely fucked. But there is no familial knowledge on how to protect yourself from this. Invest in stocks? Idk. What are you people doing and are you seeing success with it?
I've been riding this rollercoaster since sometime about mid-February. It's a "stock" called NRGU that derives its price from the big-name oil companies.

Hasn't done too bad so far these past 4 months, but I'm still not sure how long I plan to continue.

PS: not financial advice (or is it?)

Agree. Outside of a very small die-hard left or right, I have the feeling that normal people just don't care anymore. And if they stumble onto these broadcasts they will just shrug and go "oh, are they still doing this? and then switch channel and move on".
I think it is a mistake of them to focus on this since it does not have any traction with normal people.

Heck, normal people are starting to stop caring about even Ukraine by now. They care about things like affording to fill up so they can go to work. They worry about being able to afford food. They don't worry about J6 anymore. That train has left the station.
Agreed with this. When I go to the store to grab my bulk items, man you should here the anger in in people getting their food.... you know the ones that voted Biden in office.

SPEAKING ABOUT SCAMMING THE PEOPLE.... produce companies have been charging more and you are getting less. Generally it is 10% less +/- of course for starters.

Yup its getting bad.

Oh my god Slappy is a cannibal.
Probably shouldn't have turned himself into a pickle...
Protests against these senators need to start. Make sure everywhere they go they get called names and are shunned. Treat them like they treat the voters.
You do realize most of those people are all already done for, right? Everyone who ran in 2016 is retiring to avoid being thrown out in disgrace in the primaries, and the rest are trying to cut deals with the Dems and hope everyone forgets by 2026 when they're up for reelection. Not that they aren't scum, but at least take solace they're scum that is pushing this in a last-ditch attempt to fuck us all over before they become irrelevant.

Yes, but i also remember Romney's face when he got called a traitor and feel like that should happen a lot more often. You can really tell they do not like it one bit.

Biden shoved Zelensky under the bus. Don't see how Kinzinger missed that.
The war is over. The administration just hasn’t admitted it yet.
Kinzinger probably thought he was in the club because of the J6 committee. Clearly he isn't.
