I do remember this and it's true that there are some trannies infesting them, but tf2 has also always been a bastion of old Internet culture. It still remains one of the only games you can say the nword in and not get banned. I've played on a few based servers such as one on open fortress hosted by wapchan.

I don't get why people like this guy? I tried to watch him and couldn't stand the shitty "youtuber" personality he puts on of going "Oh my god! This is crazy guys!". The one thing I liked of his was when he just watched other people's content like nerd convention speed dating, but that was probably because I found the content he was watching funny and not him.

I just want youtube creators to be normal people, not the retarded hype soy face weirdos that seem to get pushed by the algorithm.

Only think I've ever seen him/her in is some of Nuxtaku's silly "gameshows" and in them he/she usually plays the straightman. (I don't mean "not gay" I mean, the serious, not humorous one.)

I have seen all of them as profile pictures on the forum, I assume that's where he recognized them from as well. I already assumed all anime avatars are pedophiles before tho, don't need Null to tell me that .

The TF2Classic devs can't do anything if you host a server, since they don't control the steam master server without engine access.
The only thing they can do is have a "trusted" servers list which they do with their official servers.

So I guess that means that Josh is more of a weeb than I am.

I didn't recognise any of them either - but then again I hate any anime that features child-protagonists and refuse to watch anything featuring lil' kids on the cover. I don't hate kids, but i hate the way children are written in anime. There's always this lingering creepiness over how the kids talk and act that I just can't shake off. Like the creators want you to view them as small adults instead of actual children... or something... I don't know. There's just this underlining sense that I'm watching someone's fantasies about children and those fantasies are not 100% child-friendly. So I get where Josh is coming from. Something definitely isn't right there.

I was listening to the podcast. I might have been familiar with some of the characters if I could have seen the artwork, but just from hearing the series and character names I couldn't visualize most of them.

Completely avoiding anime with kids is gonna be pretty tough, especially if you're including high school-age kids; that's excluding like 80% of stuff right there. And you'll be throwing out some gems like Spy X Family, where a spy and an assassin adopt a young child who can read minds and is completely non-sexualized, but I guess I can't fault anyone for using that as a rule of thumb.

This week's Mad at the Internet was very entertaining, I particularly enjoyed the Tranch update but lol at the Vitamin D advice and Josh's shilling for big Supplement. Yes, you could take Vitamin D, and then compliment it with K2, Magnesium, and Calcium to mitigate the effects of D, and buy it all from Germany or Australia.... or you know, it's June, and you could simply go outside and touch grass for a few hours a day.

I use a custom ultra-ultraviolet sunlamp + foil cocoon rig for my vitamin D needs. Leathery skin keeps the health in!
