Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

I remember when people thought Kate Upton was fat a decade ago.
We should not aspire to be ballerinas. I don't precisely know why it escapes people that you can be put off by being sedentary and improper diet and activity levels, but you shouldn't be offended by someone's basic appearance,

I just assume it’s a pathological fashion thing: they take it too far in the other direction. Most women look fine as a size 6.

One thing you keep seeing, and once you see it, it's hard to unsee it: The double standard is real.

When you hear a cishet Fat Acceptance/Fat Liberation woman talking about "If you don't like fat people, that's not a 'preference,' it's 'bigotry'...and tantamount to racism!"...who they're talking about is fit men and why those guys should want to be with fat women.

I'm not a huge fan of this creator, but he's got a point.

The IGs stories below are pulled from the article that the video mentions from Whisper titled "Plus-Sized Women Admit They Aren't Attracted To Overweight Men," supposedly penned by a plus-sized woman:

As a plus-sized woman, there's this expectation that you should only date overweight men. But what if you aren't attracted to plus-sized men?
These women open up about dealing with the stigma of being plus-sized and refusing to settle and date overweight men.
From dealing with harsh criticism to feelings of guilt for their preferences, find out what they had to say in these tell-all confessions.
So...a plus-sized woman dating an "overweight" man is somehow settling?

But, if a fit man doesn't want to date a fat woman it's...discrimination?
"

I have...questions...

Q: As a "plus-sized" woman
you think you're "attractive," yet you feel "big" men aren't?
How does "taking care of your appearance" not include being fit and healthy?
Is what's good for a "fat goose" good for a "fit gander?" Or is it rude if a fit guy says, "Nope?"
Sooo close.
Almost self-aware.

Wait...men want the same thing you want: A healthy partner. And you're shocked.
A fatty preferring a "fit" man is about genetics. But a fit guy not into you? Fatphobic!
A fat guy can't be a "Fairy
Tale Partner," but fat you can? Make it make sense.
"Press 🅇 to Doubt" that the FA crowd apologize for being big, fat hypocrites...EVAH.

So, whar's all that "Body Positivity" and "Fat Acceptance" for yer fatty brethren, ya fat bitches?

Yep, that's Fat "Acceptance": Putting the "Hippo" back in "Hypocrite."

Bints be all: "Fat Acceptance for We, but not for a He."

This is clearly the "oppression" of Fat Men by Fat Women.

Yanno, using Fat Liberation's "logic," this is veritable "Fat-on-Fat Violence."

That salon chair is actually a great idea, purely speaking on making-a-profit-wise, not on a detriment-to-society-wise. It would be a smart investment for every Cost Cutters and Great Clips type salon to have one of these. Morbidly obese people need their haircut too and there's more and more of them every day in the USA.

I have this strange feeling that this is going to all circle back around. These 'fat girls only' salons are super far and in between. And, most people probably can't afford their boutique prices for just a trim. And honestly - their solution is to just hide from thin people in order to feel better about themselves? Sounds healthy.

The reality of 'accommodating' fat people looks more like this: Imagine you're an obese person and you walk into a generic hair salon just for a basic haircut and, in front of God and everyone, you're ushered to the Certified Fat Person Chair. That sounds like a humiliating experience. Same thing for the fatties hollering they want restaurants to provide seating for them. Logistically that leads to the 90's smoking and non-smoking sections. There will be a fat people section and non-fat people section. Ultimately sounds like they're othering themselves in a really degrading way.

How long until they realize this and start reeing that not only do we need to accommodate them with better seating, we also need to make it look just like normal-sized people seating somehow so no-one knows it's a fatty chair.

They talk so much about horrible dieat and not once talk about calories and nutrients. What a horrible thing to do when you're talking abot food choices.

Then why are you a fucking doctor? Ok I'm an idiot, I see the last pic.
Also I don't really know about how you define races in USA, but he looks way too white to whine about opression.
