It just stuck out to me that they mentioned him 6 years ago with no reference to Keeki, yet we in the present know that she and Pomu are friends.

He popped up because he didn't just fuck with Keeki, but she was the most in the open case of him trying to mess with non-Jap idols. As for that second quote, it's not too hard to see two people who had similar pasts chatting about it with each other privately and something like that to come up in the convo. Probably no relations in the past, but similar stories to share made them click well.

It's a product of the era. All terminally online females did that shit back in the day. /b/ had more self posted nudes than anyone could even imagine. OF but done for attention and validation instead of money. Things haven't changed much since then.

I know. The thing is, someone clearly made that account solely to clip the original source. Whether or not it's coincidental to the moment that some people have found out Pomu's PL is still up for debate. Whatever this is... it all seems like someone brewed a perfect storm.

Addendum: And the channel name seems like your typical burner account. Just some generic name you could easily mistake as some stranger on the internet.

One thing that really bugs me about facedoxxing is that as someone who watches Vtubers, I'm in it for the kayfabe. This medium is cool because you can be judged on your talent instead of your looks, and yet people insist on, say, comparing Pomu to fucking Pantsu Party just because they have features in common. I'm not against looking into past lives entirely, but seeking out what someone looks like irl, wrecking the fantasy, then bitching about that makes no sense to me.
