I watched some video on YouTube recently that had "suicide" in the headline (it was literally just some news piece on autoplay, I don't remember the exact context but it wasn't even directly about suicide) and it had a warning message down the bottom the whole time (on a news video that only mentioned it in passing). The tech platforms don't have a problem promoting movements that spread suicide contagion and encourage kids use suicide threats as a tactic for getting access to drugs, but they make it so you're not allowed to actually mention suicide by name. This way the platforms can look like they're doing something while actually doing next to nothing.
