The difference between LA and most of the country is that LA piles on rewards for people acting this way rather than punishing them.

Ethan and Hila were always giant pieces of shit, they just lived in places that forced them to act like semi-sane adults. In LA, they are encouraged to act like the giant pieces of shit they always were.

Its why all the decent human beings move away or never go to LA, while all the assholes move and or stay there.

I think there's definitely some sort of ingrained culture in Los Angeles that rewards bad social behavior. Between that and the "lol, do whatever you want" culture of San Francisco, they have ruined their own cities, ruined their state, and have done incredible damage to ruining the rest of the country.

People ruined LA. It was once an excellent city built for the automobile in a perfect temperate climate where the American southwest meets the ocean. Anymore its an overbuilt, poorly planned shithole where crime, homelessness and violence run rampant. It lost it's soul and it isn't surprising that people who make the choice to live there tend to loose theirs aswell.
