Issues with the modern US South

A few main issues I have noticed about the area are:
1. Drug use permeating most towns and communities.
2. Broken families that end up producing broken people.
3. The odd obsession with urban culture despite things being more peaceful in rural setttings.
4. The limited job opportunities here that have been gutted and exported then replaced with shitty fast food joints and corporate chains which in turn destroys small businesses.

The cities and suburbs are full of New Yorkers, Californians, and other trash. Mexicans and other Hispanics are invading at a rapid rate, even in rural areas. Cities like Atlanta, Memphis, and Birmingham remain crime-infested shitholes.

And the best part about the shitty fast food joints and corporate chains is that all of that is at the behest of the "small government" the local people claim to love that leads them to vote in faggy RINOs who claim to love Jesus all while they go and invite more California types into their states because it's "good for business." That's been the sort of people who have ALWAYS led the South because the Southern political class either hate their constituents (because they're rich faggots) or sell out their constituents at the first sign of a dollar bill. That's what they did in the Civil War (rich slaveowners and their Jewish merchant buddies like Judah P. Benjamin), that's what they did when they invited in the Yankee carpetbaggers and put whites and blacks on the same plantations, that's what they're doing they now. The South is just as fucked as the North.

What do you want me to say that I haven't already?
-Yea, drug use is pretty damned rampant and ain't going away soon giving our general cultural malaise and depression in the hills.
-The young smart minds who can actually fix shit don't hang around, and I for one don't blame them because there is next to nothing for a young person to really do around aside from incredibly shit work. Or fuck. Or do drugs.
-Businesses don't want to stay here, and like it or not, you need businesses or your region dies.
-The culture is all over the place. Better by far in some departments (much better sense of community, hospitality, general civil behavior, genuine tolerance and acceptance when it's present, WAY better food in most cases), woefully retarded in others (massive God bothering, sense of superiority, degeneracy is very much a thing, hypocrisy on a grand scale, our upper class/Elites could give Yankee elites lessons on dickheadedness).

One thing might surprise though; the anti vax/Covid shit was pretty mainline Republican conservative, not that many on the straight up crazy end of the spectrum on that issue.

Also our schools. While we don't have the trouble of blacks and gangs turning the campuses into walking into a Doom deathmatch arena, and we don't have dangerhair teachers talking about their fucking neo-genitalia, they're still shit for almost every other reason. The teachers have given up and are as depressed as everyone else, the kids are shit in every other way in terms of vandalism, drugs and sexual behavior (so much for abstinence only), and what resources we have are devoted to the three things. FOOTBALL FOOTBALL and MORE FOOTBALL. New field houses? New equipment? Treated like a demi god if the team is winning and you happen to be a coach? Bidets in the fucking stadium bathrooms? No amount of money is too much, NONE. Actually working on the infrastructure of the crumbling buildings or renovate them to accommodate all the state mandated online shit or money to better pay and attract competent support staff? NOW they're on a strict budget. The world can burn down as long as they can sell tickets to varsity games on Friday night.

That's part of the fucked up parts of the culture. Granted, I wish the people with their shit together would hang around, but as stated, I don't blame them for leaving.
