I'm not gonna fanfiction it because it depends on how what needs to be proved is framed to them according to the standards of the category of injury, they're all different. There's a whole calculus to remedy as well which is separate from just winning.

And most importantly it hinges on the timeline of events that neither of us feel like looking up so we're at the point of talking out of our asses. If he just wanted to fake his death and dip that's different from pointing the finger at someone on the way out, like I said it depends on exactly what he said/did before the emails were published.

All I'm saying is it's a plausible strategy in comparison to the constraints of a defamation case, I'm not in a position to weigh the two.

Not actually true. Most people knew the Earth was round and some could even tell you how big it was, as far back as around 400BC or so. The thing people usually associate with ancient views of flat earth was an incident about an entirely different issue.

I think, it was way more simple - fellow furrydegens made fun of Byuu over his thread/visit to KF, he threw a bitchfit and bothered Null with "I have a rope and I am not afraid to hang myself" scene to get his thread deleted NOW NOW NOW NOW. When that didn't work, he threw another bitchfit with his public "suicide" hoping that KF will be killed in a matter of week, just like 8chan. When that didn't work and this bozo cooled off a little, he realized that coming back from the dead is not an option, since now this embarrassing shit will end up on the very website he tried to take down.
