It's pretty funny that despite Japan's reputation for having an extremely high suicide rate, there still wasn't anyone they could use as a suitable scapegoat. Personally in my eyes this makes it even more disgusting. They were literally hoping someone from their home nation would kill themselves so they'd have an easy way out of fucking internet drama. The only problem he had with just disappearing is that the one thing in his life that he was toally proud of was done under a pseudonym. Think of him using KF as a way to ensure his real name got the credit for his emulator.

He just didn't think things through, like a typical autistic shut-in, and consider that not even antisocial sperglords like being accused of killing someone for real, no matter how they talk.

There is no way a third-party suicide was ever part of the plan. Hector and whoever else is involved in the hoax were just too lazy to find out if there were any public records that might contradict the story. The existence of the overseas deaths report took him by surprise.

That's why he keeps making up weak excuses to discredit the official record, instead of looking at the report and wondering if he's been tricked.
