The morphogenetic field games (if that’s not an official name for the series then it should be) are a perfect set for people who hate themselves. I have never spoken to a single person who’s played them and didn’t admit to the storylines being batshit garbage, even if they enjoyed them overall. Unfortunately they’re also easy for someone like Phil, who has no issue with being led through any game by the nose and can’t be paid enough to care about things like characters or narrative cohesion.

So far i would say the story for this one is pretty jank, but i personally enjoy the banter between characters rather than the plot. Otherwise would've dropped it in the first 2 hours.
