If we’re talking just VISUALLY passing from a distance, you could just get nipples tattoo’d on. It would look better than the burnt peeling pepperoni you see on so many FTM’s, and be just as functional (e.g. not).

With cancer, presumably the nipples are not saved because of the risk that they might also be cancerous.

FtM troons also butcher their thighs and arms to get skin grafts, which I think is totally counter productive. FtMs would probably have better luck attracting a woman, at least, if they left their arms and legs alone and focused on weight lifting-- and avoided bizarre phallo attempts. As far as a FtM trying to attract gay men, they're just plain delusional. Most gay men are into dick. Well that’s not a good colour combination. The pink on the left looks almost like granulation tissue, or a fistula forming and the grey/white could be rot or the mother of all yeast coatings. Sensation mostly. The claim is that nerves are not cut but pulled down instead. This should theoretically give better tactile sensation but if we look at the multiple examples of this technique on this thread I don't see any noticeable differences in what they say compared to other methods.

I also think a large part of it is bullshit claims by the surgeons. 80% of the delayed abdominal is done by Cetrulo and he has been clearly lying to his patients. The other 20% are from 1-2 other surgeons (I forget names) but since this method is a mad scientist experiment (even compared to the other techniques) they likely have also been lying and up-selling this technique as a way to experiment and make a name for themselves.

Basically, Present day Josef Megele's are manipulating dumb girls into 6+ surgeries for money and notoriety.

It seems like they do not just harvest skin, but much of the skeletal muscle too, as many of the donor areas look like a huge chunk was bitten off of the area from a predatory animal. There are podcasts and books about cults that will touch on cult-like groups and warning signs, just to say, "hey, this might not officially be a traditional cult with a central guru, but it has some unhealthy red flags." (The podcast A Little Bit Culty is an example of this, even though they're extremely normie).
I really wish we were far enough along in this whole troon process for programs like that to be able to talk about the trans stuff already! They deal with untangling personal accountability and the harm you did in the cult vs the harm done to you and brainwashing, for one thing. The thought-terminating cliches, circular reasoning, isolation from friends/family, control of language, all that stuff is there.
Imo if detransitioners could get a bigger picture of the psychology of this stuff outside of gender bs, plus talk to ex-cult people who have NOTHING to do with SJW/gender/political bullshit, it could help give them language to talk about it and get them out of the "obsessed with gender, but now I'm an insane obsessed radfem" loop.
It's too bad that at this point, nobody will touch this stuff with a ten-foot pole. There MUST be people who produce these programs who KNOW it's going to be an issue someday.

You can actually pretty effectively argue these things without getting into the minutiae of gender stuff or whatever, but the people who need to hear it won't have it. Their goal pretty much always seems to be to dismiss you as being a bad person and so whatever you say is irrelevant because it's all bad faith. Their obsession with language and constant goal post moving is really the crux of the whole thing, you can grant them almost every single possible premise and show how the logic is fundamentally broken and they won't care if you flub a term they've decided now is a dogwhistle. Show them a clearly wrong premise is false or flawed and they'll spend an endless amount of time trying to discredit the source and you for using it. They jump to "you want trans people to die" no matter what you might have said because they just want to terminate the conversation rather than risk raising any doubts in their own mind.

People don't want to say it's a cult because it sounds cruel and everything around the subject has been framed as affirming care being the only thing that will save lives. Nobody wants to reject that premise because it's a difficult task to explore and then if you don't back off the entire weight of the cult comes down on you. Look at Jesse Singal, who is for everything including possibly putting kids on puberty blockers and letting them get surgery, but he's written about it skeptically and demanding better evidence rather than shitty studies and when they aren't talking about wanting to rape him to death while claiming he tries to rape trans women they're also claiming his one Atlantic article like five years ago led to the entire Genocide.

Unless or until all these frauds are exposed clearly and publicly I don't think people who outsource their own thinking to "experts" are going to question affirming care as anything but proven medical science.

The grafts cause the arm to look quite unsettling as now there's no fat layer between the skin and tendons/muscle. The skin they usually use to replace the original is a shallow graft from the thigh.
