It’s the most dysphoric drug I’ve ever taken. Anyone who takes it regularly past their teenage years is somebody with a dangerously unbalanced psyche. I really do believe You literally can’t enjoy that stuff if you are not totally disordered mentally. I’ve never met someone who this wasn’t true for. I used to know a guy in his 30’s who would robotrip and watch movies like SAW regularly and he scared the fuck out of me. My friend had an older brother who was tripping on dxm while also huffing gas, and he passed out with a gasoline soaked rag over his face. He’s retarded now and has to live in a group home. Sorry if this has been discussed before -- I've been lurking for a long time, but my memory is shit -- but is there any consensus on whether Alyssa is consciously faking all her disorders or has truly convinced herself that she has DID, seizures, etc?
From what I know about other internet disorder fakers, it's usually a mix. They believe their own lie a little more every time they tell it. But this girl is so crazy, I can't tell what the balance is. I'm leaning towards "she literally thinks she has daily seizures and has a robot baby in her head" because of how batshit she is, but I wonder if it started as a purposeful lie.

I'm gonna wager a guess that they aren't interviewing her because remote jobs are flooded right now with applicants with her level of skills (ie, none), and Id also be shocked if she can keep her spaghetti in her pockets even on a written application. Most have sections where they want you to write things about yourself, and she probably fills it in with lots of word salad garbled nonsense that she thinks makes her seem invested and sincere but instead just comes off as deranged. Anyone who has ever been in a position where you have to hire people knows that you can usually smell the crazy ten miles off, all without having to even Google her.
Plus, her work history sounds batshit. Like, she's been a freelance pet sitter, house sitter, and a nanny for a family her parents hooked her up with (and she quit without notice, so she can't use them as a reference). I bet she's never had a job that counts towards social security or provided health insurance. She's held a few fleeting part time jobs with huge resume gaps.
But our thread gives her a reason to feel sorry for herself and believe that it's our fault she can't get an interview and not her abysmal life choices. Go ahead, Alyssa, apply with some new name youve come up with (Alyssa Mendoza is my guess) and you still won't get a call back if the hiring manager has half a brain and the job pays more than baseline minimum wage.
ETA: I almost missed the bit about being "open with" her "disabilities." Like, yeah sweaty, big surprise no one wants to hire a person who is probably already listing their demands for unreasonable accomodations in their application. I used to get those kind of applicants too "Must be allowed to sit all day with no lifting or standing, cannot interact directly with others because of anxiety, need alternate hours because I work best at 4AM" etc.
