Problem is voters in purple states DON'T LIKE ABORTION. Hell, nobody really does after the first trimester.

No it doesn't. Allowing something for straights but not for gays is a pretty clear and uncontroversial violation of the 14th amendment, while banning abortions requires some tortured insane troll logic to figure out how it violates the 4th.

I think it's fair for states to go after state residents avoiding laws by leaving state. The United States is essentially a union of small "countries" so if you leave your "country" to bypass the law, you should be "deported" and tried to the full extent of the law. Other states should not protect those people. A union should work together.

Gun laws only make it harder for honest people to defend themselves, not criminals, so I don't consider that a point of contention. Laws make it more difficult, sure, but they'll find a way. Honest people should not resort to criminal means to acquire personal protection. New York allows people to carry pepper spray but that wont do shit. People need guns.

Frankly, the whole anti-abortion take is retarded. There is this weird belief that women getting abortions are doing so frivolously, as if women want to go through the extensive emotional and physically exhausting process involved. Prolifers completely ignore the women get who abortions after being raped, when faced with health complications of the child, potential death of the mother due to childbirth, financial issues, etc. What has happened to society to reach a point where we allow sex pests to run rampant but cease protecting our sisters, our mothers, our wives, and daughters?

Pro-lifers don't care what happens to children and mothers after the child is born. They have this false sense if entitlement to control other's bodies. Prolifers are the same retards who circumcise their men, get the covid vaccine no questions asked, and dont donate to homeless. Simply hypocrites who further push western society towards degeneracy.
