I know, which is why it sucks that so many girls and women in red states are inevitably going to die from unsafe backalley coathanger shit or being forced to give birth to daddy's rape spawn.

That is indeed a horrible situation, although they could likely either find an abortion in another state, or give the child up for adoption. Also it's thankfully a pretty rare phenomenon. Turns out trauma isn't very conducive to conception.

I think there's a fear among pro-lifers that if rape is permitted as an exception then many false claims will be made simply to get around the restrictions.

I personally have no strong opinion on abortion one way or the other, I can see both sides to it. I'm fine with Roe v Wade being repealed and letting the states decide. Why not right? The federal government is supposed to be for enforcing the constitution and there's nothing in the constitution about the right to an abortion.

I could say something ideological and pretend this is all guided 100% by rational discourse. The emotional elation I feel though from the result of this ruling is only half motivated by good being done in this world. The other half of the elation is because the Left has spent the last 30 years making everyone's life miserable in almost every conceivable way and I am happy seeing something make theirs miserable. The last 30 years they've just assumed everything they want is going to come to pass and any objection you have is you being on "the wrong side of history".

I can't think of any political force in my living memory that deserves to lose more than these arrogant assholes.
