Hey genius; I already said that my worry was about legislation around birth control and HIPA. Abortion doesn't affect me. Those two issues do, or at least, they affect people close to me.

As for why I didn’t go nuclear and play my Race Card to get Merrick Garland in, well, my Race Card is not something to be taken lightly.

Find me one person who matters that wants to ban something which has a genuine medical purpose (unlike fake ones such as abortion). I'll wait.

You can't read minds to see which black won't end up a nigger, deporting blacks would peacefully solve most violent crime overnight, it's logical thinking with an understood element of collateral damage.

Not to mention limiting abortion access means more black people and democrats. Being genuinely anti-abortion always seemed counterintuitive to me when taken from a Republican standpoint.

1. Its the same logic Dems use where kids should be allowed to have an abortion in secret from their abusive parents and molesting boyfriend so they can remain with their abusive parents and molesting boyfriend.

2. I guess Republicans really buy the line about abortion being murder and this is more important than political victory to them. For the record I'm not sure it will affect demographics too much. Conservatives will still have way more children and the hardcore libs who already mostly kill themselves off with contraceptives will shift even harder to it.. The ones who use abortion are mostly lib out of more ephemeral economic reasons and when forced to do so will eventually realize contraception is much easier and be able to abort themselves with travel vouchers

No one cares if your sister is taking birth control, let alone birth control for medical reasons. Most American women do it too and that's going to be a fact of life that won't change in the near future with women in the workforce. The GOP is not a very right wing party socially. Actually won't, you have to deal with the people who will violently resist being thrown out of their homes. That's gonna be violent as fuck. Just ask coal miners in the early 20th century, they created a mass armed uprising over that issue.

Even if enough SCOTUS justices want to overturn that ruling, there's no practical way to make it work because you now have nearly a decade of legal same sex marriages. There's no way to do that without either creating two legal castes of gays or annulling every of of their marriages. Either option would create an unworkable clusterfuck for both public and private sectors regarding rights, benefits and property.
