There’s one problem with that, though.

2007-2010 was also around the time that the concept of the “white Hispanic” was invented to sway statistics as necessary. So some childfree white woman with the last name Lopez can be put in the same demographic as a Honduran immigrant woman shitting out 12 kids to help even things out.

That being said it’s true that overall, fertility plummeted in 2007-2010 and I have some disturbing theories as to why. The drop was so sudden and across the board. If there was a baby boom after the 2008 financial crisis waned, that’d be understandable. But it just got worse.

If anything I think you're being way, way too pessimistic. While there probably is a lot of crossover, (I noticed a lot of towns that lost white people coincidentally gained an equal amount of 'multiracial' people in the 2020 census despite having no significant non-white population in the area to originate from) I don't think it's enough to show a noticable difference in TFR.

The ones who do it, do it purely to get gibs, and a lot of southern american cesspools now have lower fertilty rates anyways - which is mirrored or exacerbated when they come here. In fact I think mexicans in mexico actually have lower fertility than mexicans in the US now, which is why all our new hispanics come from elsewhere.

Also forget hondurans, guatemalans are the only ones who still breed like rodents. Embarassing all of south america, they need to knock that shit off.

people have less kids in down economies, that plus propaganda about waiting until financially stable followed by the rise of dating apps meant people just put off having kids and also got married later as well. as for general fertility i assume its about birth control in the water followed by just post obamacare easy of prescriptions and general unlimited access to it at younger ages.

plus bullshit like health benefits, and then the whole "you never know" mentality meaning any woman that goes out partying ends up on it instead of just taking a load to the face or ass.
