Jaron Seth Bloshinsky / Jazz Jennings / I Am Jazz - Puberty Blockers: Not Even Once

Many women become more homophobic once they have kids.

They’re fine with people who are already gay but deep down are worried about their kids being gay. This goes beyond the basic worries about protecting their kids from getting molested. It goes into protecting them from exposure to gay culture until it has been established that the kid is straight.

Somewhere along the way shit can go too far and the parents troon their gay kid out instead of just raising them to be a normal gay. That may have been what happened with Jeanette.
Actually, as I've said ad nauseum, "what happened with Jeanette" was that at the first indication of effeminate behavior, she consulted transgender specialist cousin Debbie, who both declared him trans and convinced Jeanette (who in turn, with help from CD's referrals, convinced Greg who then convinced Ari, etc.) that Jaron would kill himself if he wasn't allowed to troon out. People don't want to hear this, but that's "what happened with Jeanette."

Making it a public spectacle from which Jazz could never return, however, was ALL on narc Jeanette...

Parents fear their childrens' exposure to gay culture? Then why are they all voluntarily flocking to Drag Story Hour at their local parks and libraries with their impressionable little kids in tow???

The turnout at these events is pretty low. Oftentimes protestors outnumber attendees.
Not where I live (not only in the two large, liberal cities near me, but even in my own small town). It's curently "cool" and progressive.

As for Sander, I agree -- as a woman -- that's he's good-looking. Again, it's all the weird expressions.

He would be good looking, especially his eyes and teeth. But his demeanor is unnerving.

What? His crazy eyes look like they’re melting off the side of his head because they’re becoming so warped from the weird permanent sad cuckface expression he constantly wears. Living proof of the old mom-saying, “if you keep making that face it’ll stick that way.”

As a woman, i disagree. I see drag as a homage , modern trans culture is what's derogatory to women. It's like many woke people nowadays see cultural appropriation everywhere when in many cases its cultural appreciation.

Drag queens are sassy, confident, funny, it's how they see women. Most trans women are just incels / modern MRAs.

Drag queens love women and respect them, trans women hate real women.
By this rationale blackface minstrel shows are a homage to black performers.

Sander is a solid 7 lookswise, but personality wise, big yikes.

Being involved with him sounds fucking exhausting.

"I need you to help me organize an event in the park to show our allyship with the LGBTQ+ community!"

"The children need shoes. I need to take them shopping for shoes. By the way, I'm leaving you for the UPS man."

"Great, we'll meet by the bandstand at 10! All you need to do is take the pride flags out of the washer and throw them in a bin; they can dry on the way there!"

I dunno. It’s an homage to an archetype of a woman, but since most drag queens are gay men, they’re disgusted by real women.

I never knew a gay man who found women disgusting. Just because they dont wanna fuck them doesn't mean they find them disgusting. If anything i find that most gay men adore women.

Furthermore neither drag queens nor gay men are after women' spaces. They don't claim to be women.

By this rationale blackface minstrel shows are a homage to black performers.

No. As far as I'm aware most black people find minstrel shows offensive, the purpose of these shows was to show blacks as caricatures, to mock them and dehumanize them, they'd use few stereotypes of a black person from back then and present them in their repertoire. I've never heard of women finding drag queen shows insulting. It's really all about the intent.

You cunts keep rating me autistic but I don't see any fucking compelling contra arguments coming from you, just "gays are icky" and typically telling women how they feel or should feel about something. Which is precisely the same thing troons are doing.

Drag queens literally call women 'fishes'. They fucking hate women. They also keep getting arrested for child porn lately. I'd find better men to idealise.

That minstrel shows were offensive to contemporary black people is something that was decided after the fact. It's like how people in the US decide that Speedy Gonzales is racist, while actual Mexicans love him. Look up the history of Al Jolson for more.

Yeah, but SANDER?

No way. No waaaay. This dude right here?

You guys are fucking with me.

You know, I think I prefer the Cousin Betty or whatever her name was to the weirdly recurrent “is Sander Jennings handsome?” debates. I think it’s the Kiwi Farms version of N*Sync versus Backstreet Boys. Besides, we all know the most Handsome Jennings is the ghost of the Jaron who could’ve been that haunts Jeanette every Christmas. He’d haunt her during Hannukah or Passover or Seder, but not even the supernatural powers in charge of ironic torment remember they Jennings are Jewish.

Has any public discussion surrounding drag actually asked women how they feel about it, allowing for critical voices without the force teaming of gay rights, unless it's fawning praise? Women's feelings have either been dismissed as some conservative Karen homophobe, or just a prude.
Women, in the west, are discriminated against, and a product of that is 'woman' being synonymous with 'bitch', 'weak', or 'uptight'. Or, to celebrate, 'fun and ditzy', 'glam'
I think if someone is depicting a group's culture and appropriating it for fun, it's not bigoted against gays for that group to be hurt by it. Taking the gloating stance that we're just homophobic buzzkills is some Pick Me energy.

Anyway, back to Jazz. I'm enjoying the Sander psychoanalysis because I can't wait to watch him crack, finally.
I predict Ari will write a tell-all in a decade.

If there was a need for public discussion it would have happened. Third and fourth wave feminists, supported by far left media, accused drag queens of being sexist, but they have accused everyone and everything of being sexist too. As long as I lived, traveled, talked to women from all over the world, in real life and online, I have never came across this being brought up as an issue. Women's feelings have been dismissed by whom? Where?

I have never felt discriminated against, nor that me being a woman was synonymous with being a bitch. What a whiny thing to say. If you're a woman then get some self respect and stop looking in the mirror through the prism of victimhood. And if you're a man then stop simping.

Nice color, big, long lashes. They could be great if they weren't the windows to his non-soul.

They call us "fish."

They don't call women fishes, fishy is a slang term from the 70s where fishy means feminine. And i don't idealize any men, drags included.
There's a lot of re-writing of history going on. They call is fish because they think we smell like fish. Obviously not every drag queen feels that way, and some of the nicer ones specify they don't use the term for that reason.

Gay men can be very misogynistic, just like straight men. There are plenty that love women because women are great. They might not need them for sex but they need women in their lives. Some gay dudes are more attached to their beards than their husbands. But there are plenty that hate women. Misogyny is pretty pervasive.
