"We are in this fight together," she says from her expensive private plane while posing for a dramatic photo.

The ruling also doesn't preclude the Federal Congress doing something. All it says is that Roe V. Wade was a shitty decision that had no basis in law, and that the proper venue for dealing with it is the elected legislature.
They don't really have a lot of options. They could try to stretch the commerce clause to make it illegal for states to outlaw abortion clinics, maybe, but that's a major fucking stretch.

The primary reason men support abortion is so they can have sex and objectify women and also not become fathers. Cut the bullshit. You and I and everyone in the world knows this to be true: abortion is unironically a tool of the patriarchy to subvert nature and oppress the weak and vulnerable.
That's right ladies burn those bras and show those tits, for empowerment.

The amount of fedposting I've seen today has been at an all time high. It's not so much shocking as it is amusingly surprising how quickly all the left leaning people I know went full on lynching and guillotineposting.

It highlights a bit of cognitive dissonance that's hard to reconcile though. For all the people currently so pissed off they're fedposting and seething at rates previously unknown to man, these are all the exact same people (from my POV) who shit their pants over Jan 6th. Yet, they're calling for significantly more violence directly at members of federal government than the 6ers ever could.

Do you think that thought ever crosses their minds? Probably not, but if you have more than a single braincell and the ability to comprehend anything beyond black and white thinking and the NPC mindset the comparisons are too obvious not to laugh at.

Rules for thee, not for me, it's okay when we do it, etc etc.

Here's my twitter fedpost tax:

>Seattle, Washington

Every time :story: Seattle could be deleted from the planet and nothing of value would be lost.

On a related note, the amount of people I've seen that don't realize that this is not an outright ban on abortion but a shifting of the enforcing jurisdictions from federal to state level enforcement. The amount of reactionary speds that didn't look past the sensationalized headlines of "ABORTION BANNED" is the real shocker. I thought people had more awareness when it came to topics that clearly mean a lot to them. Guess not!
I and others have expressed the very same sentiment, However I for one am not surprised by the cognitive dissonance, St George riots aok vs Jan 6 being an "insurrection," or libs talking about being Patriots while signing off on Keith Olbermann encouraging states to flat out defy court rulings or abolish SCOTUS through some sort of putsch.
It is plainly obvious these "people" do not operate from any principles whatsoever. They simply want what they want, and do not care how they get it. It is moral particularlism augmented by raw doublethink, distilled to its most potent form possible.
Not only do they have no interest in reading Hobbs or Roe/Wade which is quite correctly overturned, they probably are not capable of doing so, either because of emotional investment or being too ignorant and stupid to do so. And they somehow think they are the enlightened, educated ones.

They don't really have a lot of options. They could try to stretch the commerce clause to make it illegal for states to outlaw abortion clinics, maybe, but that's a major fucking stretch.
Or they could make Medicare and Medicaid in a State conditional on the State offering the procedure. Why stretch the commerce clause when you can just use bribery and blackmail to make the States do what you want.

It's moot anyway because there is no way such a bill gets through congress. At least for now.

"It's now a matter of life and death super annoying inconvenience if I get pregnant! What should I do to avoid this problem?"
"I know, I'll delete the app that tracks which days I'm at risk for getting pregnant!"

Reminder that these brilliant women have a vote which, for some reason, counts as much as yours.
