I'm reading it as people now have rrats that Cover was doing a mistake in their decision on firing Rushia, based on the Rushia letter. The mistake being what she leaked is actually not that bad, or so she seemed to claim. (However, we also have a consensus that she might be fired not only because of the leak, but also some behaviour issue). Then rrats fly around about it, so Cover decided to squash it by releasing this statement. Did I get it right?

Seems like a dick move. Either work with Rushia to put out a unified statement or say nothing. TBF Japanese leagalise is far beyond me but it also seems far beyond Japanese citizens considering shit shows like this. If Rushia did have a lawyer check the press release, crossing all my fingers here, this might become an interesting development. The closest comparison I can think of is trademark law where if you allow someone else to use your content you can lose your rights to it, is rumor law similar in Japan? So..why does the new PC Seamstress have an empty Deviant Art account that was created 4 weeks ago? Just found it by searching up her name. That name and timing can't be a coincidence.

Seeing as the Mikeneko stuff has come around again with Cover's statement, I'll just say that I'm pretty confident in claiming it's her fault. All that information I had 4 months ago has already left my brain, and at this point there's only some vague memories of what I believe happened. What I know for certain is that when I did have all the information in my head, I had come to the conclusion that she was likely entirely at fault. I can't even be sure if I'm remembering this correctly, but wasn't there proof that she tried to set up some kind of dead man's switch type thing by offering to give Kore2 information that was to be released if she was ever fired, but in this case he was smart enough not to try and fuck with a very large Corpo that hadn't done him any harm?

As I was typing this I just went to find something substantial other than using my shit memory from a situation I cared about for maybe a week, and so here's an image from a post detailing what Kore2 said and why he's probably trustworthy on this despite being a dramatuber.
