The left does such a good job of turning normies away from their movement. Literally all they need to do to make abortion legal nationally is have Congress pass a law saying it is. They failed to do so multiple times when they were a filibuster proof majority in Congress. I guarantee you that the reason they aren’t trying to bring up legislation in the Senate is that they don’t believe they have the votes to pass it and want to protect Manchin and Sinema. If they were smart, they would’ve used this as a campaign issue to mobilize voters and instead want to rage and burn down cities in states where abortion is legal and this decision does nothing.
Amending the constitution is more work than passing a federal law which was what gp was writing about. Probably won't happen with abortion since the amount of subversion to get there would be sufficient to dispose with the inconvenience altogether.
