A lot of people are going to see this as a schizopost, but this is a site full of schizos, so I hope you'll humor me.
I really think that this overturning was a genuine act of God, and I think the lack of mega-severe rioting is a testament to that.
There is probably an alternate timeline where this didn’t happen, but perhaps the abortionoids solidified their fate when attacking churches, because it invited the literally presence of God. Perhaps the vaccine really was the mark of the beast. Perhaps this decision’s announcement was one of the seven seals. I’m mostly joking, but there does seem to be something spiritually substantial about all of this :)

perhaps, I just get the feeling that things just keep escalating constantly month after month for the past few years, and with no one backing down it all feels like a powder keg that's about to explode, as much as I'd like to sit back and enjoy the violence I know that its gonna just make things worse or make what's happening right now look pale in comparison

Honestly, I think the biggest effect of this may be a disappearance, or at least a reduction of the expected Red Wave in November. Because now Dems have a legitimate thing to appeal to their base.

Had this not occurred right now, I get the feeling most of the Dem voters would be demoralized and not vote cause "hate Repubs but Biden and the Dems have been a fucking tool for the last 2 years. Fuck it, just gonna sit back and hope for the best."

But now, they can be galvanized with "look at how the Supreme Court has taken away RvW. The Right wants to take away your abortions! They'll get rid of gay marriage next! Vote for us so we can make it into law so the nazi-fascists can't do that!"

Whether or not they actually do ANYTHING is a different question...but they sure as hell are gonna bank on it.
