What constitutes as ‘death’ none of us remember ourselves as babies do we? a fetus is even less sentient that a born child and doesn’t have proper brain functions developed or any memories of its existence. How can it die if it never truly lived? Your semantics reek of self righteous conservatism and religious fundamentalism.
You can't be this retarded. We don't kill retards or vegetables just because they aren't "sentient". You don't have the right to determine if someone else's life is worth living, what is wrong with you people?

Is there anything to suggest that there will be any state that will ban contraceptives next?
Not until the case making them legal gets overturned. I wanna see if it happens, because the salt will be glorious! I just cannot imagine any state trying to make contraceptives illegal. Even Alabama wants them to be used otherwise how could they hide the incest going on. But oh boy, would I love to see it!

have you ever given birth before? Lmao
Is this supposed to be one of those bullshit debunked "giving birth is the most painful thing ever" gotchas? Because I have broken a bone and women who have both broken a bone and given birth keep saying breaking a bone is way fucking more painful. Stop being a fucking pussy.

If a woman believes that abortion is the right to control what happens to her body, which many women do, then telling them they cannot abort a baby is telling them they do not have the choice to do with their body what they want. Hence you are forcing them to follow through with a birth.

So if a woman or women collectively believe they have a right, they have a right. Do such magical powers extend to men? I believe men, as part of their bodily autonomy, should not be obliged to under 18 years of indentured servitude by way of child support for a pregnancy they do not want.
Or how about jury duty. I dont believe that the government can or should compel me to do jury work, labor, against my will. So do a lot of people.
This is more of the bullshit feminist mindset, where women are afforded carte blance license to do whatever they please. NO.

I'm going to note here that, like in most women's issues, they are victimizing themselves and downplaying the role their actions play into them leading to this predicament.

If you have the right to self determination(you don't) and if you have the right via the 14th that the state cannot infringe on a person's right to life and exercise of his/rights without due process then a state preventing you from aborting a baby is a state denying your rights.

Edit: Forgot to mention here that the 14th amendment would apply to the baby inside the women.

This stems from a misinformation campaign that supposes abortion is a constitutional right. And as several justices asked during the oral arguments, where is it in the constitution specifically that guarantees the right to abortion which nobody could give an answer to because it doesn't exist. It's why Roe is bad law.

The left doesn't argue well. They haven't needed to, so they've gotten weak at it. People who are upset aren't coming at this from a rational pov. This is an emotional reaction. There's no point in reasoning. Sit back and laugh.
The 14th amendment can only protect abortion rights if it is an unenumerated right under the 9th. I agree there is implied right to privacy under the 5th, it is out of a right to privacy we do not allow unreasonable searches and seizures. There is nothing like that even implicitly re abortion. It is a medical procedure, not done in one's home, in a medical faciltiy under medical care.

Again, bully to you for believing in abortion as a policy right. But there is no reasoned basis to assert it is a constitutional right.

LAPD and DHS seem to be sending more officers to the LA protests.

I must say, threads like this are the reason why this is the best website. I didn't keep up with what went on last night and I wake up to see so much archived here. Protest vids, legit documents laying out the ruling, discussions ranging from hilarious to serious, and enough salt to fill the moon with. This place has everything!!

Also, didn't one of Tiber Septim's wives have an abortion?
Yeah the dark elf one, Berenziah I think her name was. He forced her too, and his magical wizzzards carried it out against her will. Todd is directly responsible for creating a character that is a male chauvinist tyrant who forcibly controls dark skinned women's bodies. I'm pretty sure that, according to current year mores, writing fictional characters that behave in a certain way means you absolutely condone everything that the fictional character does, and you're 100% responsible for the actions and beliefs of those fictional characters.

I have a 100% pro-abortion stance. I have zero opposition to the latest of late term abortions. I'm glad Roe V. Wade got repealed.

Why?

Federalism is an infinitely more important thing to protect, and a infinitely harder thing to mitigate if compromised. Letting the Supreme Court to be used as a bludgeon to bypass the process of ratifying an amendment is terrible. You want something on the federal level? Spend the enormous amount of political capital and go through all the checks and balances.

The amount of effort and overwhelming support you need to pass an amendment is on purpose. It keeps things balanced.

Is what you're trying to pass controversial enough that you fear you won't be able to ratify the amendment on the Federal level? Well then, maybe the issue is divisive enough that it shouldn't be dictated on the Federal level and should be left to the state level. Don't agree with the state's stance? Push for change on the state level, or just move to a state that better suits your ideals. Same advice I'd give to someone against California's gun laws.

I would be opposed to any state laws that criminalize travelling to another state or country to receive an abortion, but so far that remains merely histrionics (along with the retardation that they believe that the repeal will affect the legality of non-abortion BC).

Regardless of your stance on abortion, legally everyone should be in favor of this outcome. Because achieving your goals in the short-term using compromised methods will inevitably lead to your goals being subverted in the future by those same compromised methods.

If you're truly opposed to this method of governance and even moving to the deepest blue state won't assuage your fear, non-ironically move to Canada. There, the Liberal government enjoys a forever majority with timid moderates kept as controlled opposition. The individual provinces (states) have no real autonomy and are mostly just puppets to the whims of the Federal government. Every wet dream policy you want is already enacted or is in the process of being enacted. And since there are basically no real checks and balances to the federal government's power, the government can instantly impose any new law it wants at any time, so no more worrying about pesky things like "rights" preventing the lefty agenda from being forwarded. Now, you'll have to deal with the consequences of living in a country more left than California...but if you support the Democrat policies 100%, that won't be a problem, right?

You know, I thought people forcing racial BBC fetish shit was something exclusive to 4chan weirdos, but apparently I was wrong.

The amount of people on Twitter talking about conservatives having their wives/daughters raped and impregnated by a black dick is concerning. These people are twisted and fucked up in the head, they're projecting interracial rape fantasies as a political argument. That's like talking about invading China and colonizing Chinese pussy with their anglo BWC as a political argument over the Taiwan issue.

Also, they don't realize that they're being racist, because uh... Only black men are able to rape apparently.

Imagine a man, and take away reason and accountability.
My favorite quote from any movie ever ❤️
I hope you are drunk. I agree with you.

I'm attempting to steel man the pro abortion argument. It's hard for me to do it do it but that's the best argument I can come up with the given facts other than outright stating murder is desirable in specific circumstances and abortion falls in one of those circumstances, which is a much more interesting and compelling argument than any I've heard from any pro choice believer or activist.

The amount of spergs flaming him thinking a guy going by "Dankula" really is a Supreme Court justice is putting the civics understanding of the most outraged into perspective.
It becomes more horrifying when you realize that most of these people are able to vote with no restrictions

I

Sure, but how many time do we have to tell people that birth control can fail before they get it.
You can be on the pill and get pregnant. You can wear a condom and it breaks. Etc etc..
The morning after pill can fail too...

People were not having abortions for the hell of it.
You can also have oral sex, or do anal, or masturbate. Like you have plenty of choices well before abortion.
