If I were Russ I'd be starting to look at one of the remote worker village cities and seek a lower cost of living, no water shortage, a social scene geared toward people working from home, and a fresh start to fuck up. His "logic" (I use the term very loosely) is that if women can choose to end a pregnancy, they should be allowed to choose to have sex for money BUT he also thinks it's illegal for hookers to deny him service. He has not been stupid enough to try and sue an illegal hooker for turning him down (though I'm almost certain that's happened) but he gets pissed when a legal hooker at a brothel says no and management backs them up.
